This has already been discussed.

They don't carry Toshiba DVD players. They carry other Toshiba products.

They DO carry RCA HD DVD players and usually have most of the discs.

Amazon.com has Syriana for $24.99. With the 10% discount, it comes to $22.49.

I placed my order, but it says the ship date is like July 20th. I still think it will ship this week. Their estimated ship dates for some of these HD DVD titles are way off.

I think that's because it's not released yet. I bet the date will change tomorrow.

Well both the Serenity and Terminator deals are long dead now. Someone might want to update that.

Also Amazon has Land of the Dead and Dazed and Confused HD DVDs for only $23 right now. That's a great deal considering that they are both combos. I'm sure they will adjust the price soon.

They also have a listing for Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas for $20.99.

For some reason Amazon is not offering the 10% discount on these titles yet.

I'll have to wait until the features are released on Dazed since I already own the Flashback Edition and just picked up the Criterion disc too. it is a good price though.

Right now The Bourne Supremacy is $15.99 brand new at Amazon and is applicable for the 10% off. And The Last Samurai went down to $19.99, I believe yesterday it was $24.99.

I think is is the HD-DVD for Backdraft , but Amazon has it incorrectly labeled as a DVD.

MSRP seems about right.

A good portion of these pre-order items are not showing up with the 10% off discount yet. I know Pitch Black is getting the discount, though. Double check your order amounts before you send them through, as you don't want to lose that discount.

I'm willing to take a chance and lose a few dollars from the discount then wait too long for it and have the price on the combos knocked up to $30. I can always cancel my order and place a new one if I see that the discount becomes active. But that's just me. I know that Unleashed and Animal House were on Amazon for only a short time with a low price before Amazon caught it and corrected the price.

Yep I would say that's it. All of the newly announced titles are on Amazon that way, (marked as regular DVDs). The only ones I can't find are Seabiscuit, The Dukes of Hazzard, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Enter the Dragon.

Dukes of Hazzard: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...v=glance&n=130 (listed as "Not yet released: Sign up for pre-order" so they haven't listed it to order yet)

Yeah, now that I think about it, I agree with you. I ordered, and if it looks like it's staying at the low price after the discount is applied, I will re-order. If the price goes up and the discount gets applied, I will email Amazon to have them apply the discount to my existing order.

My pleasure. I cannot wait to see the scene where he checks into the hotel and the clerk turns into a lizard in HD. It's a shame I'll have to keep the Criterion one for the extras, though.

That's one of my favorite scenes too. As for the extras, looks like I'll have to keep my Dazed and Confused Criterion as well.

Keeping a Criterion is never a shame, but space is always at a premium for my media discs. Good thing HD cases are so thin.

I just emailed Amazon yesterday asking for the 10% discount and they just applied it to my order today no problem. You may want to do the same.
