No HD-DVD blowout at my second CompUSA.
I'm guessing
1. It's a regional thing in Porno's area.
2. Some clerk mistagged the HD-DVDs by mistake (instead of the SD versions)

While we are not revealing the exact criteria, they are minimal. If this is your first time at A9.com, you will be eligible after a few days of use. If you are already eligible, as little as a couple searches per week will keep you eligible. (We reserve the rights to change the eligibility criteria at any time.) The total number of searches is not important; your eligibility depends on your regular use of A9.com.

Now the discount has completely disappeared.

just curious. For significantly cheaper items, I buy from amazon (like MI boxset for $50 after 10% off), but im getting alot of things from dvdplanet using my store credit.
They buy back dvds at really good prices. I have about $600 total that ive sold/selling to them. Im planning to use most of it this fall for other hd releases.

Most batches that I sell range from $150-250 and shipping is about $12 or so.
Some titles are harder to find than others....especially season sets, they very well might be listed, but harder to search for. I would email customer support if you really want to sell it.
This is alot easier than ebay (which I was doing before). I get a tad less in money, but less hassle and no ebay/paypal fees.

Yeah, I just sent in $105 worth of trade-ins. Some titles are a good bit cheaper than Amazon such as Tokoyo Drift (I know - but I love shiney cars - what can I say). I spent $5 mailing those in, I do it because it is a lot easier than selling on half or ebay. Some things I still sell elsewhere, but most goes to DVDPlanet. A hint for searching for used titles - Find the item you want to trade with DVDPricesearch and then copy the title from the DVDPlante page - that way you are searching for it the way it is in the computer. Also, it should be pointed out that if ou have a bunch of PVD they often have barcodes that are different - I sell or trade these elsewhere - SecondSpin will take them.

Ok...figured out how to get trade-in values from DVDPlanet. I did a search but couldn't find any anaswers...
How long does it take for DVDPlanet to process you're tradeins and give you store credit? Are they picky over what they accept? If they don't accept a title for example do they send it back to you?

I would suggest just batch seelling them on Ebay. Yes if you sell each individual title on Ebay it can become a pain but I have sold batches of discs in the past in 10 Disc amounts that have sold every time and ended up selling for just about as much as they did individually. If you want an exapmle just go to Ebay and do a search in the lots sction in DVD's. Tons of people are doing it and almost all of the ones that have good titles have peole bidding. I am for getting as much money as I can for anything used I sell especially when talking about movies that I have boughtover and over again.
Trust me and try it. List a 5 disc lot or 10 disc lot on ebay and compare it to what you would have gotten trading them in. youll end up getting like 15-20% more on Ebay. That may not be alot if you only have a few titles to sell but with alot fo people on here that have a lot of regular DVD's that could end up being hundreds of dollars in difference.
