So would this box set count as 3 HD DVDs and qualify me for the 10% off for a year? Or do you think they count it as one?

Probably just one, but just try the code, and if it works, then you know the answer.

Duh. I should have figured that out myself. Doesn't look like it works . Too bad, it is three HD DVDs.

You know... You could always just contact Amazon's customer service.

I've never had a problem when requesting the difference on something, as long as it is a pre-order, or was recently shipped.

Yeah, ive done that before, but in this case, I didnt mind just cancelling. Their customer service has been very good to me in the past.

Adventures of Robin Hood, The Dirty Dozen, and Grand Prix are available for pre-order now at Amazon for $19.95 each before discounts, and the 10% off is working, grabbed 'em all! No T3 yet though.

I immediately pre-ordered Robin Hood...don't know if it's worth it to order The Dirty Dozen or Grand Prix, though.

Even with the 10% off...they should buy you dinner first.

HBO seriously needs to re-think their pricing. It's not even the whole season!

Not to give excuses, but the SD DVD set is just as high. Bottom line it is like you said, HBO need to drop the price on this set.

HBO has always charged absurd prices for their season sets, and all their seasons are generally shorter than a network season. It doesn't help that they pad them out by putting one or two episodes on a disc, then an extra disc for special features.

And now back up.

Just got my HD-A1 so I was just about to order this title. Maybe I should wait to see if it drops.

Damn the Amazon price for Mission IMpossible just went up to 69.99 (30% Off). Was all over that 55$ price. Oh well, looks like I just have to suck it up and pay the 69.99. Anyone know the cheapest place for this so far?

You might want to wait it out and see if the price drops again.

Amazon's prices fluxuate quite a bit. Ray, for example, keeps on going back and forth between $14.99 and $19.95. So you may still very well be able to catch the MI set at $55.
