Others (on AVS) who were able to get it from CC paid $24.99. One out of two ain't bad, but I REALLY wanted Searchers, have to wait for Amazon to ship now.

This week's Fry's ad has:
Enter the Dragon HD-DVD
for $14.99
As is sometimes the case, Fry's in other regions may have more on sale - this is all that I saw in the circular I got in today's Chicago Sun-Times.

Thanks for the heads-up... I ordered 12 Monkeys, Spartacus, and The Thing using a $5 frequent buyer credit and a $5 coupon (AUGUST2006). Total was $52.xx shipped for all 3.

Kingdom of Heaven (extended edition) first BD50 from Fox
Ice Age Coming To Blu-Ray
Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, the last major to announce its Blu-ray titles, has unveiled its format slate, bolstered by "Ice Age: The Meltdown," to be released Nov. 21.
Fox will release the standard DVD on the same date.
"Meltdown," at $195 million in domestic B.O., is the biggest new release to be announced for either high-def format this year. It is exclusive to Blu-ray since Fox does not support the rival HD DVD format.
Fox's first Blu-ray titles will be announced today at IFA Berlin.
MGM Home Entertainment, which is distributed by Fox, also announced its first Blu-ray titles this week. "Rocky" and "Bulletproof Monk" get thrown in the ring on Dec. 5, and "The Usual Suspects" and "Windtalkers" on Nov. 28.
In addition to "Meltdown," Fox's initial Blu-ray titles include the "Kingdom of Heaven" director's cut, which will be the industry's first release on a dual-layer 50 gigabyte Blu-ray disc, with double the capacity of the 25 GB discs most other Blu-ray titles use. It hits the street Nov. 10 in Japan and Nov. 14 in the U.S.
Both Fox and MGM stressed that their initial slates were chosen to appeal to early adopters and likely PlayStation 3 purchasers.
All Fox and MGM Blu-ray titles are priced at $39.98.

Bugger, put it in the wrong thread! I'll leave it here for folks to laugh at if you like...
