I'm wondering if they're trying to see which ones they will have to actually replace, and which ones they'll just say "you need to upgrade your firmware." I haven't called them back yet; they left a voicemail on my answering machine today.

I had ANH freeze up on 3 of my players 1.Sony 2.Toshiba 3. Audiovox (portable).
I thought at first it was just me, but thank god I found this thread, I guess I'm not alone.

I still didn't get a call from Fox so I called them a third time. This time I actually got a human on the other end of the phone. I called in the middle of the day. I got the same story everyone else seems to have gotten; two weeks, what player, address, etc.

Called today regarding the replacement disks. The lady I spoke with was going to issue me replacement disks. I explained I am aslo having trouble with ESB. First she told me to return the disks to the store to exchange them. I told her this has been done 3 times now, she then requested I send my disks into them at :
