So can anyone put the CORRECTED disc in their DVD rom drive and check the time stamp of the files in the Video_TS directory?

Does this mean they've fixed the channel swap problem! Woohoo!

Maybe you could, I don't know, read a little of this thread. Four or five responses back someone said "no discernable changes." According to Fox and LFL, the reversed audio channels are intentional and there is no plan to "fix" the problem.

The VIDEO_TS directories on the two DVDs are identical. Same file sizes, same timestamps. I don't think the fix involved re-authoring the discs. It was just a manufacturing error on one or more of the batches, so they are just sending out discs from a different pressing.

Here's the discs I have

First one:

The files in Video_TS is dated 10:14:58 June 16, 2004

s/n L803 9661 22224060 @ R40702-06Y

There's also ANOTHER s/n on the disc that's written in mirror writing, and ends in 7Z

Second one:

The files in Video_TS is dated 10:14:58 June 16, 2004

s/n L803 9661 22224060 @ R40702-06Y

There's also ANOTHER s/n on the disc that's written in mirror writing, and ends in 8Z

conclusions:

The time stamp in the Video_TS are the same

The normally written s/n is the same

The mirror written s/n is the same save one digit (a 7 and an 8)

So I'm stumped!!

On another note, I notice that the back of #1 looks like it's physically in better shape than that of #2.

Just an FYI that this still works.

I called up yesterday and told them the problem. The woman then asked for my name, address, whether I wanted Wide or Fool, and the dvd player that I had (Toshiba) - and it should be mailed out in a week.
