Agreed. I'm a big fan of 20-something college girls. Let's have more of those.

You need a whole other coupon for them.

I've been trying to hold out, but I can't do it anymore ...

"It's" more than likely going to be next month, like "it" is every year, yes?

(I'm ashamed of myself ...)

Last day for the sale! Is there any chance someone has any available coupons that they can't or won't be using?

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

^ I don't think there are any general coupons live right now. I had success with two $8 off coupons on separate occasions during this sale. Of course that's a big YMMV.

I believe the b2g1f sale is going to start tomorrow at stores. Might want to keep an eye out for any overlap for sales today online. No guarantee it will happen, but you never know.

When might that happen if it does? Tonight at midnight, EST?

Probably around midnight ET if it does. Seems like they clamped down more on the sale overlaps compared to earlier times, so there is a good chance there might not be much to find. At one time you could expect the sale to quietly go active in the afternoon, and could snag a few good deals before the official start.

I just gave it a test a few minutes ago and the sale is working on some DVD titles. I added a bunch of random stuff to my cart and a DVD came up free. Doesn't seem to be working with blu-rays. Maybe there are some DVD bargains if you look around. More stuff might show up as time goes on.

Spoiler:

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I'm surprised no one posted this since it has been floating around awhile on other forums.

You can currently get $10 off instantly on $25 B&N gift cards at participating Save-A-Lot stores. Offer runs through June 15. Supposed to be a one time purchase but heard some people are able to do this more than once, or make multiple visits to stores to get more cards. They also have gift cards for other stores that you can get, but thought I would focus on the B&N cards.

Unfortunately I only have one store in my area and it's about 30 miles away. So it looks like this promotion is useless for me.

You can go here to locate stores in your area.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Thanks, Laser. I'll keep monitoring it tonight and see if the sales overlap.

EDIT: Apparently only about a thousand Blus are eligible for the B2G1 sale unless they are adding more as the night goes on. All of the ones I'm looking for still say 40% off, but they are not qualifying for the new sale.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I didn't have any luck last night getting any sales overlap, but tonight there are some Criterions that are still 40% off and qualify for b2g1f online. Some say they qualify for the sale, while others don't mention it. However every title I tested seems to get a discount regardless. Not sure how long they will remain at 40% because some new coupons are supposed to be coming Thursday. Three Criterion blu-rays for $47.98 is not too bad. Trying to decide whether to get some now or wait another month.

Here are some blu-ray titles I ran across for 40% off. There are many more.

http://www.barnesandnoble.com/s?csrf...t=sa&store=DVD

Jubal $17.99 ($29.99 list)
8 1/2 $23.99
Amarcord $23.99
Antichrist $23.99
Au Revoir Les Enfants $23.99
The Man Who Knew Too Much $23.99
The Blob $23.99
Black Orpheus $23.99
Bottle Rocket $23.99
3:10 to Yuma $23.99
A Man Escaped $23.99
A Christmas Tale $23.99
Bigger Than Life $23.99
Black Moon $23.99
Black Narcissus $23.99
Breathless $23.99
Branded to Kill $23.99
Charade $23.99
Che $29.99 ($49.99 list)
On the Waterfront $29.99 ($49.99 list)

^ Unfortunately most of the ones I want are $29.01. Not terrible after the B2G1F, but seeing as the Criterion sale is coming up soon (and hopefully will overlap the tail end of this sale), I'll wait it out...

Another good deal is the lower tier shout factory BD titles like Electra Glide in Blue.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Just came to post about the overlap, but it looks like Laser is on top of it.

Some really good deals here, especially if you were able to get some of those discounted gift cards.

edit...It looks to be practically dead. Most everything in my "Saved Items" and "Recently Viewed" has gone back up in price.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Well, it looks like I missed this one. I wonder how long the 3for2 sale goes? If it goes long enough, it may bleed over into the 50% off sale for a few hours like last time. We shall see.

I have not seen any details on when it will end, but would imagine it should run through the month of June. Looking at the calendar it might run until about July 8. Maybe the Criterion sale could start either July 9 or the following week on July 16.

It's now dead. Looks like you only had a few hours last night to take advantage of it.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

LOL! Missed it by one night. I was there the night before and nothing, then I skip last night and it worked. Who knew there would still be 40% off titles 24 hours after it was scheduled to end? Oh well, I saved money and hopefully can use it next month if the sales overlap again.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I just got a 15% online code in an email and I'm wondering if anyone else got one that they are not going to use because I would love another one (or two).
