Don't know if its been mentioned or not but while on line not all blu-rays are on sale in store all blu rays are 40% off. Some examples of discs not on sale on line but in store at 40% off

This is the last day for the memorial day coupons. Have heard some people with memberships are getting 20% coupons in the mail. However don't know if anymore will come before the end of the sale.

Does anyone have an extra store coupon? I'm planning on going later today for a last minute buy. I know I already requested one and got it, so don't want to be greedy, but I thought if someone had a printable coupon they were hanging onto just in case and now won't be using it. Thanks.

I tried to go to a B&N last night around 8pm, but they must have closed early for the holiday. Best Buy had normal hours, so I was hoping they would too. Then tried to find stuff online to use my coupon. I fell asleep with my laptop on my lap, which searching their site. DOH! 20% coupon wasted...

I received a 20 percent in store coupon in celebration of my store's 20th anniversary. But, it has no date on it. It just says it is good a limited time. It's already 10 days old. Does anybody know how long these are good for?

I got a couple of those in April for a store in my area celebrating its 10th Anniversary. I don't know how long they were valid for since there was no expiration date, and were used before they expired. However to test it you could try entering the coupon code online to see if it comes up expired or not. If it is valid I would assume it would say your order doesn't qualify since it is only a store coupon.

I do wonder if my stores will accept coupons. On Blu ray forum someone said the Seattle store wouldn't accept coupons for this sale. There is only 2 stores here that carry movies. I haven't been yet.
I do wonder why some stores are accepting coupons for the 40 percent sale and others aren't. BN needs to set a policy that is consistent for all stores.

You said a lot there. I got one store to accept an $8 off coupon on a Criterion with a $39.99 list before the 40%, while another store said "no go". Basically, it's how much of a hard case the cashier wants to be. In the second store, I knew I had no chance, as I'd dealt with this guy before. He'd deny his own mother use of a coupon if he could find it in the small print.

The B&N theme has definitely swung toward tightening up on coupons, as opposed to becoming more customer-friendly. They're now restricted online during most sales, they're almost always single use, and cashiers look for creative ways to say "no".

In general, I've had the best luck with 20-something college girl cashiers as they tend to be pretty nice and easy going about coupons and discounts. Perhaps it has something to do with them understanding about saving money, I don't know. Males, both young and old, have given me the most trouble at B&N.
