Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
Quick dumb questions since I'm not sure anyone has tried this but is it possible to use the printable coupons in the first post at multiple B&N locations? As in, if printing out the coupons and using them at one location, is it possible to print them out again and use them at another? Or does using them "mark" you somehow for one time use only?

If you're looking for the Avatar Extended BD set, BN has a great deal on it. It's $24.49 in store, same as online. With the 10% off member discount and the 20% off coupon, you can get it for $17.63+ tax.

Are these 15% off coupons for non-B&N members? If so, please add me to the list of those wanting one. No rush and many thanks!

FYI NYC: Used two 20% coupons I received by snail mail and two others by email for Criterions at the Warren St store. They also let me use the $8 off coupon on 3 Criterions totaling $54.

I don't want to mooch, but I really could use one more 15% off coupon. I'm planning on picking up Wild Strawberries and The Ice Storm this weekend and $17 is a price point that I'm comfortable with. Much thanks.

Pedro, coupon codes do NOT work for Criterion online during this sale. YMMV in store. I was denied when I tried to use the last wave in store, haven't tried these or the snail-mail 20% member coupons yet.

My 20% off snail mail coupon was denied in store today but the cashier went ahead and gave the 20% off anyway. It seems like they are disabling the coupon use in store as well. I used it (tried to) to get Babette's Feast.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
Customer confusion is not good for business. There are at least 3 major area of confusion for the customer in the BN business model. First, on-line price does not always equal in-store price. Second, discount coupons can be used in-store but not on-line. Third, discount coupons used in-store may be deemed to apply sale items or not, depending on the decision on the clerk ringing an item up.
If the $25 membership generates no savings on-line and only 20% versus non-member 15% savings in-store (and then only sometimes for sale items), we members are left with only 10% savings on non-sale items, in-store only. One has to drink a lot of coffee to make this membership worthwhile.
Perhaps BN personnel pay attention to this site. If so, plse take note.

If anyone still has a 15% off coupon, I'm interested in trying in store for a couple of Criterions before they go off sale.
