Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Criterions, Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc.
Free Shipping is $25 (before tax/shipping) or with membership.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order

Return period is 14 days after delivery though possibly it's 30 days now for most people though there is a discrepancy b/w the receipt and website.
Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept

Single Item 15% OFF, but should be reusable in different transaction and if the Clerks will scan it more than once.

How are you guys able to do stuff like this? Sometimes they look at me when I'm using just one coupon like I'm shafting them.

Nice! Might have to pick up a couple more Criterion BDs on my wishlist by then.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

So are those 30% coupons scanning without incident? Do the clerks have to do an override? For those for which they don't work, is it the scanner of the clerk turning them away?

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I tried 3 last night that I located through searches, including the 2 that Laser has now shared. All came up as redeemed. Some have had luck though. Go figure.

The signs in the store say otherwise. I was in the store last night and the signs all said the sale ends on the 24th. I hope they entended it but I wouldn't assume it; I'd call and confirm.

I have a good relationship with the guys in the film/music department. They are helpful and knowledgable and I enjoy discussing film with them. I also don't try to use more than one of the same coupons on a single order, I don't try to use an $8 coupon on a title with a list price of 39.99, and I never argue.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Went to our local Barnes & Noble store with 30% Off coupon in hand, looked through their entire stock of SciFi/Action/Drama/TV/Sale DVDs, didn't find a damned thing that 30% off would make it worth my while to buy, ended up using the coupon on a box of Christmas cards (for next year) that my wife had picked up. The coupon didn't scan so the clerk entered it manually, it didn't want to take but the clerk forced it through anyway, I think she felt sorry that I wasn't able to find any DVDs to buy...

I may be a cheap bastard but damn Barnes & Noble for their exorbitant prices... -kd5-

According to the people I've talked to and the signs in my local stores it ends at the end of the day on the 24th.

The way I understood your earlier post is that you were able to use multiple different coupons on one order. That is why I thought it was strange. If you were able to do that then you would be getting your movies for just a few bucks.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Went back again to my local store and picked up Se7en (Keepcase) for $11.99 and Blue Velvet for $11.XX

If the sale does indeed end on the 24th and not New Years, I'll have to go back again to pick up Branded To Kill & Tokyo Drifter on BD.

I have heard from multiple media managers that it is a one-week sale that ends tomorrow.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I was able to use the latest 30% and a 25% on two Criterions at the Cary, NC store with no issues. My sister-in-law used the 30% on the Dragon Tattoo trilogy. Otherwise, they seemed pretty picked-over... --Peter

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Here's the link to the 30% off coupon I used today:

http://www.barnesandnoble.com/email/...=JFTZ44LW5EGGX

Went through fine for me but I think I was the first person to use it. There was a sign in my store that said the 40% off BD ends on 12/24 as well.

Laser, any news of coupons for next week?

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I bought the Dragon Trilogy box set yesterday and opened it to then happen across the extended box set today. Had I known that there was an extended set I would have likely grabbed it instead. However, after reading some of the reviews of the video quality I'm not sure if it is on par with the original trilogy release. Anyone have any info or opinion on the two sets? Still pisses me off to find a different "better" version the very next day. I did use a 25% off tonight to grab the Toy Story 3D only box set for 43.49 tax and all.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I tried to use both of the 30% off coupons tonight but was shut down. It was a new employee, and she had to call a manager over. Oh well, at least I got to use one once... 25% off is still decent...
