To Save a Life - $3.99

I've never seen the film, but had added it to my wishlist some time back after hearing some positive reviews. Got a camelx3 alert that it had dropped in price in case anyone else is interested.

FYI, the only way to get the Tremors 2-4 is in the Action Pack with the original, so if you're interested in the sequels, there's no point in buying the original by itself.

Never saw the 2010 series, but I watched the first episode of the new series on BBC America website and liked it enough that I bought the full series from Amazon Prime. If you've got cable you should be able to watch the full series from the BBC America website.

About those Twilight Zone BD remasters, how did they handle the notorious "shot on video tape" episodes? Are they any better than the DVD version? I imagine they still look horrible?

It looks like an interesting flick from Sony.

Perhaps DVD18's are more than just two DVD9's, but my point was that for much of the "golden age of DVD", quality control issues extend to many DVD9's, with Warner Brothers an equally large culprit. Got the the scans to prove it. In my experience, it seems considerably harder to screw up a DVD5.

Agreed, especially with burns. In fact there is no DVD9 blank media I would use or recommend at this moment in time.

I'd agree the early DVD-9 pressings were less than perfect. Anything pressed before 2001 has to be viewed as a potential failure point in the future. They simply hadn't figured out yet the bonding process to a tee.

No, he meant DVD-9's.

I had Beauty and the Beast, A.I., and Back to the Future DVD-9 discs all become completely unreadable on me. Those were all discs released in 2002.

I had an entire [brand fucking new] Quantum Leap season completely unwatchable because of those stupid DVD-18s. Was outside the return window. $40+ just down the tubes.

There's a lightning deal for the 9th season of Little House on the Prairie right now at $12.79. Price good for another 4 hours, but already 48% claimed, so I wouldn't wait too long if you're interested.

The transfers on Lost In Space are beautiful. That price is a steal for those that don;t have the set yet. Tons of interesting extras as well.

I'm glad I missed it. I don't need to spend that money and I totally would have. My phase one box is in storage.

Product details at both Amazon U.S. and UK list it as region A/B
When I searched ebay I got four results all saying it's all region
I have other discs that list region B on the cover but are actually all region.

^I expect that price to be the "normal" price but went ahead with a pre-order. I can always cancel it should early reviews indicate it's not what we want.
