Looks like I missed out. It keeps giving me an error saying it failed to add an item to my cart.

If anyone picked up an extra and wants to ship it to me for free (I have Prime), just let me know. Lol.

And now it looks to be utterly unavailable from Amazon direct.

I blame the people above - naughty list all round... :p

For those blind buying, heads up. Keep an open mind the first handful of episodes. Jackson's character started out as extremely unlikable but they soften him up as the season goes on. Don't bail on it.

It doesn't become a very good show until season two. Fringe is very derivative of the X-Files in season one before it decides to become its own thing.

Yeah, it's one of those simmer series. S2 is a lot better. I'd even say the last few episodes of S1 were good.

Yeah, and Olivia gets much better character development later on, too. Especially when... well, best not to say too much for the unspoiled. And Walter is pure awesome throughout.

I haven't seen most of the episodes since their first airings. Really looking forward to watching them again and again.

I completely agree with your 2nd sentence, but cannot agree with your first sentence. It sounds like you are insulting both Fringe and the X-Files at the same time...
Even though S1 is similar to the X-Files, I still think it is quite excellent...

Agree. I recall both as creature-of-the-week shows for most of the first year. Fringe gets much better when the mythology kicks in ...and that is almost entirely Walter (John Noble). He makes the show really.

I thought the first season of Fringe was watchable but fairly ordinary television. It didn't become a great show until they took the handcuffs off.

Yeah, I agree. Season 1 was a lot of stand-alone stuff...Seasons 2 and 3 were really good, and then I think it went off the rails a bit - well, at least in a direction I didn't care for.

I placed my order once the price dropped & my order is. Delivery estimate: We need a little more time to provide you with a good estimate. We'll notify you via e-mail as soon as we have an estimated delivery date.

But this is what I expect from Amazon whether I'm a Prime Member or not.

Order 2 items on 11/23 & 3 items on 11/27. Items shipped on 12/08 & i guess I should be so lucky it will arrive today. I feel so lucky to be a Prime Member.

DOTD, Breaking Bad set for $49.99.

Not sure if I want it now. It is the lowest price ever from what camel camel camel shows me.

I get the same message, and I'm a Prime member on the mainland. In Seattle, actually.

I got the same message on my preorder of Thundercrack!, even though the product page claims it's in stock. Non-Prime Chicagoan here.

Well, for those that got in on the Fringe deal while it was in stock, then you should get it soon. If you placeholdered it then you're going to wait. My order is active but it's still out of stock.

The new Abel Ferrera flick "Welcome To New York" is $4 and change on BD from Amazon. I said what the heck. I hear Gerard is phenomenal in it.

Dang, nice find but does this have the theatrical cut (sounds odd, I know) which is 125 minutes versus the alternate which has 108 minutes.

I did not know that. If anything - I wouldn't be surprised if the UK or French versions would have it since Abel is an auteur there.

My complaint was not only about the "Fringe" blu-ray. It's just about everything I order from them does not get shipped put 7 to 10 days after I place my order. Yes I knew when signing up for Prime they did not offer 2 day shipping to HI. Heck I use to get faster shipping when I had to order $35 of items to get free shipping.

My Fringe set arrived today. Looks nice! The season 1 cardboard case has a lenticular 3D image.

That Breaking Bad price is tempting, but I can wait on that.
