Yay! Finally got my OBW maxed at 85. She's at 4/4/5 so still need to get 1 more blue cover. I grinded up to 600 points in the current pvp event (magneto) using 2* Thor and OBW. Next on my list to max is 2* Astonishing Wolverine.

Managed top 50 so I was able to get Patch. Yay.

Ugh. This event is driving me nuts. So much grinding. The same nodes over and over again.

Yeah I am ready for these story modes to be over. Too long.

Got one of the new storm characters.

I'm glad that event's finally over. I kept trying to get in the Top 40 (2xStorm covers) for the last 2-3 hours. But every time I won, I just hovered around #45. I ended up #46 with around 140,000 points. I guess everyone else was grinding away too. Oh well, at least I got a new Storm cover.

I didn't get any Mohawk covers, but got two for Classic Storm.

I lost interest about two days early to really compete for those covers. If it was only 3-4 days, I could have been near the top.

Yeah, I didn't even try on this event either. I didn't even make 25k. I did get another Moonstone cover this morning though. To be honest, I'll probably keep playing until the end of Season 2 and be done. I love the characters but I've already lost interest. It really feels like a game where you have to spend a ton of time on it or a ton of money...and I rather just pick up a game and play it off and on. That and my eyes don't adapt well to playing on my phone either, maybe I'll install it on my tablet. Oh well, have fun guys.

I got the two Mohawk Storm covers, but it was a lot of grinding while half-watching TV with the wife. I'm still enjoying the game, but can see that I'll eventually hit a burn out point. The 3* covers are so rare, once I get a handful of those characters maxed and start getting 3* covers I have to discard, I'll probably be about done with it. Guessing I'll be playing pretty regularly through the summer though.

It might be nice to see our entire alliance focus all its energy into a single event and get out of this casual 200-range.

Yeah, I couldn't grind for the last day and barely scraped by in the OBW cover range, after hovering in the top 20 for much of the event.

On the plus side, I finally got my last Hulk cover.

On the minus side, I'm afraid of boosting him to be my first lvl 141 cover, since I've heard that the difficulty matchups may ramp up. I've already been locked out of the Patch event, since my initial opponents are all lvl 100+ Patches with lvl 100+ partners. I don't think I'll even complete one match.

I have the same concerns. I've been leveling up a couple 3-Star characters, and I think I'll probably hold them at lvl 85 for a while. I'm worried that once I get a character near 100, all I'm going to see are lvl 141 teams.

I'm seeing the same thing in the Patch event. Lots of lvl 100+ teams, even though my characters are only lvl 85. But if you skip enough, you can get some lvl 85 opponents. Sometimes I spend 100-140 ISO in skipping.

Just know that a lvl 85 3-star character is much weaker than a lvl 85 2-star... I think it's around 100 to 105 where a 3-star is preferable.

This is also why when the 2-stars get boosted over lvl 100 in PvE, they're super deadly. Ares was destroying my team once he was lvl 120+. And I still hate Daken and Bullseye boosted.

Thought that with no other events going on, I'd spend some time on Cage Match and shield myself above 900 with hopes of getting top 10. Nope. Had three games in a row where lucky enemy cascades pretty much wiped out my team to the point I couldn't recover. Before that, I'd made it to 800, but am just getting pounded by enemy attacks. Oh well. Will probably try again around 4, throw up a shield if I can get above 750 and be done for the weekend.

I got to 2000 point in the Shield 2 area but cant get any further without being beat down to 1900.
I've had some bad luck, like a game where the computer's 85 thor destroyed my team on the second move; endless cascades and then two Call of the Storms.
I've been using Ares in the Patch event and trying to mainly fight teams without thor/ares/hulk.
Another PvE event needs to start soon. or at least more lightning rounds

And as you guys say that, a new PvE event starts.

9.5 days? At least the rewards go 5x as far as the last one so I can get a new Storm character.

The alliance rewards don't interest me at all, but I'd power through if the whole alliance needed a red 3* Iron Man power.

All the progression rewards are just 2 star covers though. Boo.

The new event sucks for me since I didnt manage to get a Mohawk Storm in the other event so i'm boned. There is no way for me to get enough points in order to get a Mohawk Storm card or the 3* iron man power

Same here. I'm just not going to bother. I need a break anyway. Just need to earn another 900 points in PVP to get the 10 pack and I'll be happy.

Been a while since the game fucked me that hard. Been playing Cage Match off and on a bit today and had my score around 930. Hopped on 15 minutes ago to play a couple rounds leading up to putting up a shield at 4. Won 3 in a row, but was losing about as much as I was winning during the matches. Then, I win a match and lost 186 fucking points from attacks during that 4-minute span. Ridiculous. They ought to have some kind of limit on how many people can simultaneously be attacking you.

i got up over 800 points, to 13th and i just put an 8 hour shield on. screw trying to grind. i doubt i'm going to drop past 50, but i'll check closer to the end to make sure.

Check your account. I just got 3 golden tokens for upgrading thick of thieves early. I have no idea what that means but I will take it.
