Oh, that's lame. I'm glad I have it installed, I guess.

I never played it and I think I deleted it for some idiotic reason. I guess if I ever really want to try it, there's yet another use of the Share Play feature.

Just watch a play through on YouTube

There isn't much actual gameplay to it.

It wouldn't seem that way if you watched it on youtube, but I think controlling it directly was a critical part of the experience.

Being a first-person character in that effed up environment while trying to figure out what was going on and how to progress was unnerving as hell. It's probably the only time I've ever been put legitimately on edge by a game.

I think it would lose a lot of that impact if you were another step removed from it.

But if you don't have another option, yeah, it's worth a look.

Agree with Chess. You need to be in control to get the full effect. There are audio/visual cues you react to with the controller, which add to the freakiness. OMG, the "thing" in the bathroom sink freaked the sh*t out of me. I still get the heebie-jeebies thinking about it.

It doesn't get fully f'ed up until about 15 minutes in, but yeah, that game (teaser) is definitely full of NOPE!

Where was all this P.T. enthusiasm when the game was actually, you know, free and readily available?

Now it's "rare" so...

I've heard of people selling their PS4s for $800 or $900, specifically because they have the game teaser installed on them.

People want what they can't have.

In related news, PT no longer supports Shareplay.

I remember a lot of enthusiasm on many gaming forums (just not here). It showed up in quite a few GOTY discussions as well.

I hear ya. For me, I've played it, got the shit scared out of me, and don't plan on playing it again. Don't want to sell my account with the game either. Can't shareplay it anymore. Maybe I can charge people to play it locally?

People just want what they can't have.

It's that thing when you were a kid and you don't even notice your toy until a sibling takes it and starts playing with it. It's innate!

Funny you should mention that. I just noticed I only have about 130 GB left on my 750 GB drive I installed when I first got the PS4. I'm going to have to be more selective about those PS Plus free games.

You could just put them in your library, and download them when/if you want to play them.

Can't you clone the HD before you do the swap? I know nothing about such things, but the IT guys here at work swore they could do that to save me from having to re-download all my stuff when I changed mine out.

Isn't that why many of us buy game systems at launch too? And amiibos, can't forget amiibos.

I don't think they have it set up so you can do that. Something related to the OS that prevents piracy? That is the one thing that has kept me from upgrading my hard drive size. I don't want to go through the hassle of re downloading everything.
