Yep. And his facial expressions were mo-capped during the voice-over recordings.

Was Patrick Stewart in the last Castlevania game? He's all over the trailer for this new one.

Hopefully it's not for: Battletoads HD Collection, Banjo Kazooie HD Collection, Killer Instinct HD Collection!

Edit: forgot to add... C-C-C-Combo breaker!

Yes he was...though it hardly felt like a real Castevania game.

Looks like NBA Live 14 will be next-gen ONLY. No mention of PS3 or 360 versions.

I thought Snakes voice was always great.

What they needed was a new writer/director.

Diddy Kong Racing came out on DS after Rare was owned by Microsoft.

I just really hope Sony doesn't make the mistake of forcing Vita on people. It will find it's footing with more people with a price drop and some better games.
It's not just you. Any handheld gaming I do is on my iPhone at this point.

However, I love the idea of taking a Vita to bed with some headphones and continuing whatever single-player game I'm in at the time.

Hopefully the Vita will have the capablity to remotely turn the PS3 off.

Interesting.

Clearly they don't have the rights to Donkey Kong or Jr., but they might have the rights to Diddy Kong? Seems shaky from a legal standpoint. Maybe they just got an agreement on a console where Nintendo got a cut.

I stand corrected. Kiefer Sutherland is the new voice of Snake/Big Boss/Naked Snake. I don't know the mythology. In any case, he's the new voice for the lead character.

Both the Vita and the PSP already have the ability to remotely turn the PS3 off. I'm going to assume you meant PS4, but I don't know why they would remove a feature they already have.

All Donkey Kong related characters belong to Nintendo. The rest of the game(at least the original, not sure about DS) is filled with characters owned by Rare/MS like Conker & Banjo.

They removed Conker and Banjo from the DS game and replaced them with Dixie Kong and Tiny Kong.

It's been ages since I played Diddy. Wasn't the rest of the roster filled with secondary characters from the Banjo games?

I'm pretty pumped for this E3. I flirted with going WiiU since I think Sony will have similar DRM to XBone, but I'm to entrenched in their ecosystem with a PS3 and Vita.

I'll get in a few personal predictions:

1. PS4 launching November 12th with 1 SKU, $399.
2. XBone launching November 17th also one SKU, $499.
3. Retro bringing out a new 3D Metroid shares accolades as game of show.

I think the only character that was in Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie was Tiptup and he stayed in Diddy Kong DS. Maybe he got a pass because he wasn't a star of a franchise?

I'm torn. As much as I would like a new Metroid from them, I would also like to see something new. Regardless, I'm sure that whatever they show off will blow us away.

I bet the PS4 launches first, same day as Battlefield 4 (10/29) and then the Xbox One launches a week later, same day as GOD Ghosts (11/5). That gives Sony a week head start to replenish some shelves with some systems. Also, the people who are borderline on picking up one or the other might be able to get a PS4 first and not have the money to pick up an Xbox One the next week.

I can't see the PS4 being $100 cheaper than the Xbox One, simply knowing how expensive the memory the PS4 is using runs.

If you mean the first Lords of Shadow, then yes. He narrated the opening text of every chapter and also voiced a significant character.

I still say the One should launch between Oct 25th - November 1st.

Sony will probably take 11/12/13

I think they'll have similar price points. XB1 would end up costing less if they didn't include the kinnect.
