Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Ah, I thought it was an auto update, but I found it in the app store. App store "What's new" descriptions are always useless because they just list stuff that was available a while ago.

I built my next boardwalk building, and now it's on to the fun part of waiting for tiles to build. My boardwalk is looking pretty good, though skinny and cramped.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

One more tile to finish this stage of Squidport and I've shifted to the two-day build.

I hit the 5 million mark in cash and was bored so I bought a bunch of real estate and random odds and ends.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I just hit the 2 day mark. It's the last one you build before you can build another building. I'll say it again, I love this pace. I'm at nearly $700k in money.

Got my 30th tile yesterday. Logged in today to check how much time left for the last one and discovered that I didn't bought it, FML!

Waiting for level 31 now.

Will the XP in my bonus level bank be lost when level 31 arrives?

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Lvl 31 is live. Wolfcastle and his mansion is the prize. Cost me $363k to build and takes 36 hours to build. Glad I saved up some money.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Nice.. I leveled up after the updates downloaded. Building new building.. I've got just under $600k. Glad I saved up money as well to build that building.

Spoiler:

Looks like there are a couple new biuldings. All Night Gym - $211150. Film Set, which is a quest dependent building. Looks like it gives a new outfit for Wolfcastle?

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

No update on Android yet from what I can see.

Looking forward to the update as I am starting to get bored. Got $900K to spend, was saving up for one of the $2 or $3M items but will spend about half my money on these new updates.

My righteousness meter went from 5 stars down to 1 star over the weekend back up to 5 stars today. All I did was add some streets and trees.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Finally worked my way up to $500,000 cash and probably just in time, since Wolfcastle Mansion is $343,500 and the All Night Gym is $211,500. Yikes!

Krustyland is supposedly coming in August. I can't wait to see how much that's going to cost.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Level up! Last night I was just a few thousand away from hitting the donuts on my XP level, but now I'm close to finishing level 31.

Luckily, I had almost all my people on 12-hour tasks timed to end just after I finished the last tile of Squidport 16, so I just started the mansion.

Except, hmm, all my characters are available and I'm getting no new Squidport prompts, so I guess all those quests are over. This confirms.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Well, bought about 5 tiles of land and McBain. Sped up his house building so that I could decorate and figure out where to put it Also bought the premium items and redesigned the Movie Studio area. I wish I would have had donuts back in the day and gotten the Grandpa Billboard to go with my Radioactive Man ones

Just dropped below 5 million in cash and 4000 donuts...time to start stockpiling again!

Did you buy those donuts or win/earn them somehow?

Also what does visiting other Springfields do for their owners? I've busted Sideshow Bob twice now while visiting friends. Did they get anything for that? Do they get anything when I collect my $16 from one of their buildings or vandalize them?

You've been rubbing my nose in it since I got here! Your family is better than my family, your beer comes from further away than my beer, you and your son like each other, your wife's butt is higher than my wife's butt, you make me sick!

I started construction on Zesty's and Crypto Barn earlier today, so I've got about 20,000 in the bank. It's going to be quite some time before I can build Wolfcastle Manor.

Is it just a waste of 2000 bucks to do the dog track? I've won exactly once. Is there a system or trick?

Busting Sideshow Bob might help your righteousness rating more than theirs, but I'm not entirely sure about that. Vandalizing and cleanup affects your and their righteousness, but I forget exactly how. I used to vandalize by default when I visited other towns, but now I'm trying to avoid it. It probably doesn't make a huge difference either way. And yes, it should help them when you visit. The biggest help is if you can tap a long-cycle building (e.g., the Pimento Grove, an orange house) because that starts their cycle again immediately. If they return to their town four hours later, they'll find that those cycles are already four hours in. So tapping something with a short cycle (like a brown house, which collects every five minutes) is less helpful. But I think they still get something out of it.

Not sure about the butt thing, but I was inspired by discostu to try the Buddha glitch again. Still no good prizes, but I didn't buy anything by accident either.

Yeah, I'm still building tiles because my buildings need more space, but I'm not intending to donut-buy a lot of port stuff. Maybe they'll add more building later.
