EA hasn't made much money from me as I've only bought two scratchers. But through no fault of my own I've got a little over $60 in iTunes money sitting in my account... nearly all of it from gift cards I've received over the past year or so. I've got nothing better to do with it (I buy all my music from the Russian Mafia) so I'm planning to spend it on Donuts. As soon as ol' Gil shows up with a deal, EA will get my money.

^ Concur and ^ Concur. Geez, when are we gonna get a "like" or "karma" feature here so we can stop writing "Concur" or "This"?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't last year's yard sale also have more items which were exclusive to the yard sale instead of stuff we may have missed?
I have the same issue with a few $$$ in iTunes cards that I would otherwise have no use for, so I'm waiting for a donut deal from good ol' Gil.

Sorry, "skin" was probably the wrong word to use here. I forgot that many of our buildings (especially the houses) are skinnable (see Christmas). What I probably should have said was that since the Cool Brown House seems to be treated as a Brown House now (from a payout perspective), then the only real difference - besides coming with a skin for Homer - is purely a visual one.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I already have too many skins for Homer, that sometimes I forget about some cool tasks he has.
I was missing on more skins/tasks for all characters, so I guess that's the good thing about the StoneCutters.
There are still a couple of characters that I would like to have skins, but I can't remember one right now. Besides Marge I mean, that I know she has the witch costume, has that one ever come back?

New update auto-loading!
It keeps crashing out perhaps due to the large number of desperate fans trying to update.

I finally downloaded the update but don't see any difference in the game.

I was planning on holding out until I owned a tablet, but Sunday night I caved and started playing this game. My Galaxy S3 screen seems adequate. But boy, this is going to be a colossal time suck.
Especially because I'm adamant that I'm not going to spend actual money on it.
I'm jmblya there if anyone wants to add my currently meager Springfield.
On Monday I convinced a fellow Simpsons nut friend to start playing the game, but he said he kept having trouble starting it. I guess this was the problem.
No update yet for me.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Man, you guys are making me think I imagined the two hours I spent continually crashing out trying to download the 336MB of updates. It made me feel clever to have set all my tasks to end at 9:30 a.m. instead of my usual 7, but then I still didn't see any update when the dust cleared.
Thank you, chase! I got the level 43 today after again downloading what appeared to be the same content (though not as much of it).
Too bad all my tasks are set to end at 9 a.m. instead of my usual 7.

*Pats self on back for remembering to check Conform-o-Meter rating before too long and making adjustments to get back to five stars*
Finally, a payoff for having forced myself to visit the rotting corpse of Krustyland once a day to collect tickets!
Yeah, sometimes it's an auto update and sometimes you have to install it from the store. Not sure why.

A couple of the premium items newly available for Krustyland will boost your multiplier there. The billboard gives 1%. The balloon gives 2%. They should retrofit a boost onto some of the older items.

I finally caught up in Friend Points midway through last week and today I earned my first donut hitting your towns. How frequently are people getting donuts via visiting other towns?

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Hmm, maybe I had gotten another one or two and hadn't noticed. Will keep an eye out but I still think this is my first donut and I've visited all of you once at least four out of six days this week, post-maxing out FPs.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
As someone mentioned earlier, they're really hard to spot when they fly out, and the donut totals don't show when you're visiting. Best bet is to note how many you have before you start visiting, then once you're done see if the number has changed.
