Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Really enjoying this update so far. So glad there isn't a wheel and I really like the whole "figure out the mystery" of the scrolls, etc. Also cool is that the Conform-o-meter shows your total bonus percentage now (I'm rocking 291.65% lol) and the ability to find people in your town when they are doing tasks (long overdue). It's also much easier to scroll through inventory; seems that if you swipe it actually moves a lot faster.
Only complaint: STILL. NO. MORE. LAND.
I really wish they'd give us another "extravagant" item like the ring or toothpick skyscraper. I've earned so much money from tasks, buildings, and neighbors at this point that I really don't know what to do with it all.
EDIT: Be careful using the nuclear option. I've seen reports that you'll lose not just trees, but something about the Cool Brown House being stuck in inventory as a result.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
From what I've read, the Cool Brown House issue is only causing problems for people that didn't get it legitimately. If you unlocked it by doing the questline you should be fine. If you had someone unlock it for you or you used a hack to get it, that's how it could get stuck.

I'm loving this event. Getting the currency is not tedious like previous events. The only downside is that you probably have to log in at least 4 times a day to maximize your emblems.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Exciting! I didn't have a chance to tap in yesterday so my Stonecutter's Hall won't be ready for another 15.5 hours but I can't wait. Gladly updated the OP with a little info.
Speaking of the OP, I intend to make a separate list for people who are on the original list but have become inactive (based on what I witness when visiting their towns this week). If you've been inactive and are thinking of picking it back up just let me know.
Finally, if anyone has some good handy little tips to put to the group, I'd put those in the OP, too. For example, I keep growing corn so that when an event rolls around (like Easter) that needs another crop the game automatically force ends it so I can collect the XP. Any other little tips like that?

Maybe I should buy some multipliers with the 30 donuts I just got in the weekly mystery box!

Exactly that, davidh777. The game did an early rush for Easter and there was another one before that. Christmas, maybe? At any rate, I either want to grow actual corn and/or get it rushed again.

Hmm.. it looks like you can only get a set amount of stonecutter coins per day from visiting towns?
I noticed that my last 4 visits that allowed me to spy on buildings, the amount of stonecutter coins I had stayed the same even though more displayed via tapping.

I must be missing something.
I have stonecutter Homer and the new building but I don't see how to spy on anyone nor am I getting coins for tapping

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Is the stonecutter table one of the rewards or an item you get/buy at a certain point in the quest line?
I'm surprised that Homer, in the Stonecutters robe, doesn't have any tasks that generate the stonecutter coins.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised but a lot of people have abandoned this game since the Easter event. Luckily, you don't need that many friends for this event.
I think it's one of the rewards.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
The Number 1 tasks practically force you to put everyone on one- or two-hour tasks, but I haven't minded that yet. Better to be engaged and feel like we're "accomplishing" something than to just throw everyone on 24-hour tasks just because we feel like we have to. Good event so far, and I like the storyline.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I received some iTunes cards as a gift, which is great, but I don't use iTunes really. I wonder, though, is it possible I can use these to buy donuts somehow? I play Tapped Out on my Droid Razr Maxx running Android. Thoughts on how I can make this happen?
Hmm, the game has been slow enough for me that I can't really get in the last day or so. Hopefully things turn around.
