Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I think I'm the only one interested in getting 50 fences, but just because I'm a completionist. I don't have any of the big prizes.

Do you get anything for getting 50 fences? Other than completing that quest?

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I still need 8 more sections of the Easter Fence to have enough of them to use. I wish they were on the build menu.

I've been relatively lucky lately with the main prizes. I got the last of the buildings yesterday, as well as Father Sean. This event has still been a big Buzz Killington.

In the Archie game tasks are attached to objects and buildings rather than characters. Which means that you never have to track the available characters down. It also means that I sent Pop Tate over to Veronica's house to try on her clothes for a few hours.

I only got one premium item so far from the boxes. So I'm getting frustrated with the trees and other worthless items. I'm not even sure how many of each color box I've opened.

It would be awesome if there were a game based on Afterlife With Archie.

Archie Riverdale Rescue. Another game similar to tapped out. It is currently only available on iOS or PC.

Thank you, discostu1337, for putting the Blocko Store and Banana Dictatorship right there on the landing screen so I can see what they actually look like.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Not sure why they needed to do a Level update in the middle of an event, but...

Update Today:
Level 40 -- Chocolate Pain

16-part, quest line
(Skinner triggers, keep Lisa and Ralph free), features:
  1. Miss Hoover -- Free (unlocks in quest line)
  2. Ah, Fudge! Factory with Cocoa Beanie -- $600,000
  3. Concrete Wall -- $385
  4. Santa's Little Helper Topiary -- 30 donuts (0.50% multiplier)
  5. Lotto 'N Liquor Store with Mr. Largo -- 150 donuts
  6. Krustyland: Crashed Police Car -- 1,000 tickets

Should be pushed out, no app store update needed.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I'm really getting tired of the game telling me I need to free up space before it can do an update. I have a whole gig free, and the update is only a few megs.

Oh, and the new questline requires Ralph. You know, one of the five characters you need constantly on egg duty if you have any hope of collecting all the prizes -- great timing on this update, EA.

Fortunately for me, I had just cleared up space to run the ios update.

Yeah, it was the same with the main Easter quest. It's also annoying because those tend to be the longer tasks, so you either have to put the quest on hold or carefully manage those tasks in advance.

Level 40 is permanent so you don't have to start it until you're done with easter. They did the same thing with Whacking Day last year.

They really need to give egg related tasks to more characters.. There's only a few? Homer, Ralph, Moe, Nelson...

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I just got the Blocko store, which is the last thing I need from the pink egg set. I guess I can start trading in my pink eggs for blue. So I got that going for me, which is nice.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I guess I should have put the new quest on hold, but it's annoying to have almost everyone just stuck on 24-hour quests. I just freed up Ralph, but since Lisa and Skinner were freeing up in 14 hours, I decided not to put him back on the egg hunt since he would have finished at 1 a.m.

That is nice, though the pink eggs give you a chance for more gold eggs.

I just bought six pink boxes: Lizards, fences (now up to 27), 900 gold eggs, and a tree.

With those eggs, I bought two gold boxes and got... 250 pink eggs and two pastel fences (now up to 29).

I used those eggs to get another pink box and got... a tree.

Flanders and Crazy Cat Lady if you have her. They should've included Lisa, Skinner and Apu since they're all part of the quest. Also, thirty eggs seems like a paltry reward for a 16 hour task.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I don't have CCL..... I don't know if I recall seeing Lisa, Skinner and Apu or Flanders with egg tasks. I'll have to look again in 10 hours when the 12 hour tasks I put everyone on finish up. I'm building the new building for the level 40 quest.

*EDIT*

I take that back about Flanders. I have him on a egg task.. 16 hours and 30 eggs.. yeah.. the egg reward for these 12 and 16 hour tasks are really low.. One of the characters has a 1.5 day task that gives 50 eggs?

And

These rewards are rigged... I swear.

In the past, I redeem a box.. and it'll stop on something like a fence piece or a tree and there will be a "click" after it stops, but it doesn't change.. Just now, I redeemed pink eggs for a pink box.. It stopped on the Blocko building, but then clicked once more and switched to a beach chair.

Based on the way I've seen the box behave before, it should have stayed on the Blocko building and gave that to me.

Lisa, Skinner and Apu had tasks during the quest that gave eggs when completed, but they're non-repeatable.

Ahhh.. that explains why I didn't see any for them. I'm done with that quest line, I believe.. Though I haven't gotten a Faberge egg to drop for me yet, which sucks as I can't get any baskets without spending donuts which I am not doing.

Everything that I had read on the previous wheels suggested that none of the prizes where actually awarded by the wheel. The prize was chosen, then the wheel would spin to where the selected prize was located. I would assume that the same is true here.

It's all a random number generator; there's absolutely nothing the player can do to influence it. All we're really doing is complaining about the animation.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Finally got the banana whatever. I'm not really holding out much hope for all the prizes. My ex wife who has like four neighbors and plays once a day has all the buildings and father Sean I think. Apparently my divorced life still isn't fair.
