Hopefully you bought 120,000 points during the Microsoft Store sale glitch like the rest of us.

I've always loved the Halo trailers. They are works of art, and this one was up there.

That is nothing compared to Europe. At current exchange rates, almost $700 in the UK and $650 in the Euro countries.

$499

But I'm sure it will sell like hot cakes and most of the video game posters here will pick it up in a heartbeat.

 Get ready to add more debt to your credit cards.

Personally I'm going to hold out. I don't need to shell out that kind of money right now.

$499. If the PS4 comes out at the same price, I can definitely wait.

Dang, I was expecting $399 at most. M$ has balls. I don't see these flying off the shelves around Christmas.

Did they actually say the points are transfering to the new console?

Re: Xbox One: This Thread Requires An Always On Internet Connection

Yeah, I'm not paying $500 for the thing, especially since the BOM has these systems all rumored to be in the $300 range. I can see $399 and might even be able to swallow slightly more than that, but screw $500.

Titanfall definitely looked fun, but I just can't spend that money on a system.

Titanfall looked great in some areas and this gen in other areas. As did Battlefield 4.

DRM out the ass, forced Kinect, limited resale options, used, no rentals/loaning games, and $500? They're cocky, I'll give them that.

They didn't say, and something I was curious about.

Re: Xbox One: This Thread Requires An Always On Internet Connection

Maybe I'm just an old curmudgeon, but I can't spend $500 on a fresh coat of paint on what appears to be all the same basic gameplay as we have now. I was hoping for something game-changing from these next gen consoles (motion controls and touch screen controls don't qualify). Add in all the restrictions on the console, and after owning the first two generations of Xbox, I'm out.

Please excuse me now, I have to go shake my fist at some clouds.

Re: Xbox One: This Thread Requires An Always On Internet Connection

I thought maybe they'd clarify some of the rumors...guess not...or maybe they already have and everything is true.

Either way, $499 is about $100 more than I'm willing to go for either new console, and I'll bet PS4 is at the same price.

Re: Xbox One: This Thread Requires An Always On Internet Connection

I didn't see anything that got me really excited for the new console. And they didn't address any of my concerns. Overall, it was pretty disappointing.

No idea, but there were more than a few people on CAG who seemed conviced that they would be able to get a ton of One games for 66% off.
