No, I don't care much about it either - although that's probably because I'm never good enough to achieve most things in most games. One reason I don't play online - because I'll get my ass handed to me. I'm all about the casual solo game playing.

I've been wanting a game like that on a home console for years. I first thought maybe the Wii would do it using the Wii Fit Board, then I thought maybe Wii U but nothing has happened with it.

Do you guys remember that awesome arcade game where you stood in the middle of this little area with sensors around, you are standing on a pad I think too, and you stood up with one of the arcade guns and ducked down to go behind cover, leaned each way to look out of cover, and all of that? One of my favorite arcade games ever but I can never remember the name of it sadly. Surely others here remember it too!

That's pretty cool.

While I don't think Kinect will be the main function of most games, it will definitely add nice touches and features to games via voice commands and body gestures to make gameplay more immersive.

It was smart of MS to have it included by default. Kinect and all the home entertainment features of the XO makes it worth spending an extra $100 over the PS4. It's a bargain in my opinion.

Someone posted in the PS4 that while playing a basketball game he cursed and the camera picked that up and gave him a technical foul. It had me thinking with the Kinnect when playing online It'll detect those foul mouthed racists and sexist assholes and auto kick and ban them? That's a huge gamechanger and a positive of having Kinnect. Even if you unplug the Kinnect I wonder if it'll do the same when they're talking into the mic? Plus the game dvr can instantly record the session and get rid of all the trolls.

That'd be a nice feature, but they'd have to be extra careful with it not to ban someone who (for example) merely had a youtube clip or movie playing in the background and Kinect picked up the offensive words thinking it came from the gamer. That might be an extreme example, but they should still proceed with caution with something like that.

Couple of questions:
1) For those of us who are getting the X1 on launch day but not pre-ordered at Best Buy. Will we be getting Day One Editions also?
2) Are demos gonna be available on the X1? I heard no.

There was a preview of kinnect 2 i read awhile back that one of the things it can do is detect your own voice. He said "Xbox show my stuff" and it pulled up his profile. It can tell which voice belongs to who.

I think if you pre order from anywhere it's a Day One Edition, but maybe that's not true.

Xbox Live Gold Day One edition has a playable Killer Instinct character. To me, that's a demo.

I worded that wrong. I'm getting one from Best Buy on launch day but I didn't pre order. Gonna wait in line EARLY Thursday. Will I get a Day One Edition?

I wouldn't count on it. Expect a green box, but if you get a black box, be very very happy.
