At least I can pick up the Hunter gauntlets. Missed them last time.

I like it - it absolutely wrecked hive in the Weekly. I had 180 kills compared to sauce and Gooter's 77 each. |

OK, here we go with this week's Xur report: New Year's Edition.
And New is the operative word, as for the first time in a LONG time, Xur is offering a completely new lineup for sale. You read that correctly: Everything for sale is up for the first time! The bad news: ALL of it requires the Dark Below DLC. Xur is located in the Hangar, down in the deep bowels below the Future War Cult area. http://oi62.tinypic.com/o8xit3.jpg So here we go with the new stuff! For the Titan, it's the Mk. 44 Stand Asides Leg Armor. Yes, exotic Leg Armor for the Titan! For the Hunter, it's the Don't Touch Me Gauntlets. These make you invisible when taking damage. For the Warlock, it's the Starfire Protocol Chest Armor. It's not Praxic Fire, but it's not bad. The Weapon this week is the Dragon's Breath Rocket Launcher. Again, not a Gjallarhorn, but it looks neat. The Engram is back! But it's for gloves :(

OK folks, here we go with the weekly Xur report, brought to you this week by Atheon and the Vault Of Glass. Come back and visit the glass bastard, he misses you.
Xur is located in North Tower in front of the big door across from the Speaker. This week Xur has, well, absolute shit. http://oi61.tinypic.com/nq75zk.jpg For the Titan, it's the Mk, 44 Stand Asides Leg Armor...again For the Hunter, it's the Don't Touch Me Gauntlets...again. If you missed these last time, they're worth a pickup. And that's the only time I'll be saying that in this report. For the Warlock, it's Starfire Protocol...again The engram this week: Gloves This week's weapon is once again this game's way of rewarding my loyalty and devotion with absolute and complete contempt. It's the Dragon's Breath Rocket Launcher. GOD...FUCKING...DAMNIT |

Re: Bungie - Destiny
I look forward to Scott's Xur report even though I check and see what is there in the early hours and I have to say that is the most depressing report I have heard. Unfortunately it is the truth. All the armor for sale have OK rolls but I have them all and I have better stats on all of them.
I picked up the Dragon's Breath just to have one along with a couple of shards. I'll think about the engram since there are a couple of guantlets I don't have though I may pass since they are guantlets that have appeared multiple times (mainly the Warlock ones). Rather have the chest or helmet engrams. I picked one each of the telemtries to level them up faster. And fuck Xur - 3 weeks with no heavy ammo synths. Really? |

I might be wrong, but I think the Abyss might be my favorite auto rifle in the game at the moment. I leveled it up, and it was damn solid in hard Crota against the hive heavies.
But damn does it look stupid. |

again just proving the DLC was rushed out there I was kind of hopeful when I saw the Murmer and the Husk, which are actually pretty cool, but nope, the raid guns are just that same old gun models with some shit slapped on them. Great job with the raid ship too fellas! |

But I agree. Abyss defiant looks clunky.

I actually used this quite a bit on a Nightfall run and the Hive Majors and Knights did not like it one bit. I did land an Abyss the other day but haven't had time to play with it. Priority is to level the G-Horn and get glimmer...like lots and lots of it. |
Re: Bungie - Destiny
I don't get the hate on the Crota weapons... as lazy as it seems at least they have a unique look to them. The VoG weapons have NOTHING to differentiate them from other weapons. The entire first set of raid weapons are about as plain as can been. Same goes for the ship. The Aspect of Glass has a stripe on it. Wow.
I have to double check when I'm using Fatebringer because when you're aiming down the sights, it looks like any other Vanguard hand cannon. Like it or not, there's no mistaking when you're holding a Crota weapon. |

Like it or not, there's no mistaking when you're holding a Crota weapon. the VoG weapons/ships aren't very unique in their looks either .... I guess I am giving them a bit of a pass here because it was the first set of raid weapons the new weapons/ships are just reskined versions of what exist with bone fragments slapped on them ... I understand it somewhat fits the theme but really don't care for the design and would have liked to see more creativity if even something as simple as the sites |
Re: Bungie - Destiny
From Gameinformer......11 Simple Changes Bungie Could Make To Improve Destiny
http://www.gameinformer.com/b/featur...e-destiny.aspx 1. Increase Vault Space Fighting with item space isn't fun. Give us more room to keep a varied arsenal. 2. Stop Repeating Maps Add code so players don't get the same Strike or Crucible map twice in a row. 3. Auto-fill Spots In Strikes Much like you do in Crucible, refill a missing spot with players in the queue. We feel bad when we abandon someone on a Strike, but we have to as we just completed that Strike (see item number two). (Editor's Note: There are times when it fills in the spot late in the Strike, but through our testing we found that it was rare and normally took 10 to 15 minutes after the prior player left. Unacceptable in our book) 4. Zap AFKers In Strikes We love the idea that if a player falls a certain distance behind the action for over two minutes (which is more than enough time for a bathroom break) they should be kicked and replaced (see item number three). 5. Lower The Cost Of Heavy Ammo Synthesis We want you to fix the heavy ammo loss bug, but until you do, lower the price please. We think 500 Glimmer sounds like a fair price. 6. Offer Quick Travel To Tower Anytime we are given the option to go to orbit, there should be another option to go straight to the Tower. 7. Allow Us To Skip Movies Anyone who has forgotten to leave the mission Eye of the Gatelord before the movie begins knows the pain of forced viewing. Make this a thing of the past. 8. Make The Weekly Heroic And Nightfall Different Activities Doing the same strike over and over (see item number two again) just isn't a great way to showcase Destiny's universe. 9. Reroll Vendor Gear Each week, or even each month, the vendors should offer weapons with rerolled perks. 10. Create An Ascendant Material Exchange You can exchange with Eris Morn for different Radiant materials, so why not give or add a vendor to exchange Ascendant Shards and Energy. 11. Add Glimmer Rewards to Bounties Before The Dark Below we had limited use for Glimmer, now people are farming "Extraction" Zone weekly (if not daily), and it simply makes you want to smash your skull through your TV screen. Adding about 200 Glimmer per bounty seems right to us. |

I'll play .....
- let me move/organize stuff around in my vault without removing it out and putting it back in - tell me what an item will break down into before I dismantle it - let me see what my other characters have on them without having to go to the tower - let me change weapons/load synth/consumables without removing me from the game experience by changing screens - come up with more new and interesting bounties - let me remodel guardians from originally created template |
Re: Bungie - Destiny
- Pretty much just do everything Warframe does at the UI, currency and progression level but with Destiny's core gameplay

Whatever...I'm sorry but if this is really "Randomized", they must have pulled some certain items not to be in the rotation because you never see them period...Scott can you say Gjallarhorn?
Bungie Clarifies Destiny Xur: Agent of the Nine Items/Inventory Is Completely Random, says "Xur Is Randomized" Are you unhappy with Xur: Agent of the Nine's inventory in Destiny and are cursing Destiny developer Bungie for it? well, Bungie is innocent and has nothing to do with Xur: Agent of the Nine inventory, its completely random and not Bungie-made. In a old interview, Bungie Community Manager DEEJ had stated that developers would have personally chosen the things that Xur: Agent of the Nine put on sale, however it seems like that have changed. Recently Via Bungie forum, DEEJ clarified (or retracted from his old statement) by stating that in his previous interview he was still undecided on how to handle Xur: Agent of the Nine, and in the end was chosen the approach "RNG: Random Number Generator". Bungie is only able to manipulate the time period in which the seller will retain the Tower, as it happened during Christmas 2014 period. http://www.gamepur.com/news/17865-bu...ly-random.html |

Let me attempt to clear some things up here. Xur is randomized. There are times when we can pull off miracles like making him stay in the Tower longer when Christmas is cancelled, but his inventory is governed by the same chaos that influences all the loot drops. Comments in that video about "the plan" were more about the fact that we know what he's selling before he appears, even if we can't reach out and stock his shelves ourselves. We set him in motion, and his will is not his own. Also in that video, you can hear me confessing that I'm not always in the loop when it comes to these things, so you should take pre-game lobby comments among friends with a grain of salt. That video was from months ago, and I was still learning the intricacies of all the new systems that we launched with the game. These conspiracy theories are symptoms of a burning desire. Gjallarhorn is the most popular ask that comes my way. I know you want it, even more than the collective requests for more vault space. As you can see, these are things that are beyond my control. I don't have one either. I'll do my best to talk to the people who create the code that drives Xur, and see if we can make him more valuable to you in the future. House of Wolves. Reddit user megamanexe64, who is apparently playing Destiny in Japanese, says that they managed to uncover dozens of pieces of Crucible and Vanguard armor for the Hunter, Warlock and Titan classes, as well as a handful of new guns and rocket launchers. The new items were allegedly spotted and screen-capped while visiting an in-game vendor. There are some other intriguing details posted by megamanexe64, including what looks like a new faction and a level 32 weekly Nightfall strike. There's also speculation that House of Wolves will be released on May 19, though it's not clear how the Reddit user came to that particular conclusion. A screenshot says House of Wolves will introduce "a new Awoken storyline plus an exclusive Raid," "three new Crucible maps and a new Fallen Strike" and "hundreds of new weapons, armor and gear." |
