I noticed the increase in weight of darkness speed. Didn't see the last part of lamps as the guy in the feed was in a middle pack and wasn't up at the top when it was over.

And yeah, I think all of them are running 32s.

Knights and ogres are majors now, they also have major thrall mixed into all the other thrall. No extra weight of darkness. Hoping invisibility still works as well as it did on normal mode. I will probably be trying to get through the lamps tonight.

Re: Bungie - Destiny

They are definitely up on the yellow "major" enemies. I didn't see the rumored increase on weight of darkness. Also, the lamp section has the primary weapons added to the loot table, the group I was watching got the pulse rifle upon getting through the light.

Also, for our Titans...why did we never think of using Saint 14 as a helper in the raid? Bubble up, retreat to bubble, everyone who comes in, blind as an NHL referee. It's working like a charm in the feed that I am watching.

And Scott, that Crota fight sounds utterly painful.

No health regen.
Lots of Yellow bar enemies.
Wizards.
Gatekeepers.

Yeah, Crota on hard is nuts.

In HM, you are automatically revived if someone reaches a checkpoint, right?

Just a guess, but it seems like you are playing it for different reasons than most here. As much interest as I've lost in the game, I still look forward to getting on Friday or Saturday night to play with the guys here. If it wasn't for them, I would have moved on a long time ago. Hell, I even jumped in with Scott last week to help him with the final part of the raid because he was the only Dagger in the group, and knowing Scott, he was trying to be the nice guy and help them through it. So until I get to the point that I'm so under powered with weapons and gear (because god knows I'm not grinding or doing bounties to get there), I'll just enjoy the ride as long as it lasts for me.

funny enough I was talking with Scott last night about the advantages between Glasshouse/Saint 14 .... guess I'll be wearing Saint 14 for the lamps when I run my Titan
Glasshouse for Blessings Of Light on Crota

lots of situational armor will be used in HM it looks like

No, you only heal from the chalice. That's why I always take the chalice when I'm doing the sword work.

Re: Bungie - Destiny

I wonder if healing exotic weapon perks will work in the Crota fight. I kind of hate the no revive mechanic. It pretty much makes everyone play as a sunsinger warlock so the have a revive.

Yes they do. Red Death will regen your health, Suros probably does as well.

I think the group I'm watching is nothing but Titans and Hunters. They're using bubbles all over the place, and I think the sword guy is staying invisible as much as he can.

And jeez, it looks like the Enrage timer was cut in half. It's madness. Two swords and enrage. The team is talking about having to resort to triple downs, i.e. getting Crota down 3 times per sword. They've made this fight basically a Gjallarhorn circle jerk.

Re: Bungie - Destiny

Ah, so my Hunter invisibility suggestion will be implemented!

I see the gear healing being used here in this run, too. And orb generation is being implemented as a strategy. That means the selfish Sunsinger / revive strategy wouldn't work. This crew is one of the better ones, and coasted, more or less, to Crota, and they are struggling, hard (pun intended).

IGN just finsihed. Fang Of Ir Yut and Word Of Crota drop from Crota.

Glowhoo does indeed make you look like a Gatekeeper. You have glowing blue parts. Pretty sweet looking.

and Enrage after 2 swords. The run needs to be flawless if you want to beat him. This entire raid is artificial difficulty. The Mechanics are the same, but the enemys are just higher then you, its cheap.

yep, sounds like it
Crota wasn't anywhere near as fun as Vault and now it just seem like instead of improving/expanding upon Crota they just made it more difficult and frustrating

so they want us to spend more game time investing in getting everyone up to level 32 so they can likely reset the leveling mechanics and rules on us again for HoW .... nahh

Sadly, this description sounds like how Nightfalls are set up, too. Bullshit, artificial difficulty.

Re: Bungie - Destiny

So the A team came together today and attempted to run through hard.

I had the duty to inform them of the insanity of the final battle, as they had not seen it. So instead we have done the first couple parts on our characters. I got the Pulse and Auto rifles.

Ran twice both with randoms. Got both the pulse and the auto. Deathsinger dropped my 4th Plan C. Got a pair of boots with better stats, so I will be levling those up. Still havnt cleared Crota.

Did you clear the Deathsinger on Hard? And did you already clear it on Normal beforehand? We stopped at the Deathsinger because we heard he doesnt drop anything if you already got something from him on Normal.

Hard only. From what I understand, Bungie got lazy in their coding. Since they moved the loot from the 1st chest to the deathsinger, they treat the boss like a chest, and since you can only get loot once per week, it only drops one set of loot
