I'll buy a Last Word, maybe two if I end up liking it.

I'll have to look at that Armamentarium, because I think it might be better than mine.

Still no Praxic Fire, and engram is a helm.

Well it's not another Rocket Launcher or Sniper....and crap almost the same armor pcs. Don't need anymore helmets for the Titan or Hunter, already have the Alpha Chest for the Hunter, Titan has two Raid & one Exotic chest already and the Void Vestments for the Warlock. I'll probably get two of the Last Word...I actually like Hand Cannons plus have plenty of coins (101).

I'm really digging The Last Word. I love the animation of the off-hand cocking the hammer and the weapon twirl. I wish there were more weapons with unique animations like that.

I bought two Last Words. So far not all that impressed. Almost 100% sure I'll like the Fate Bringer better. Hell, I think I like the Devil You Know a bit more, and both are legendaries.

I'm definitely set for helmets: Inmost Light and Saint 14 for Titan, xxxxphage and Third Man for Hunter, and Skull for Warlock. Will sit on my motes for chest engrams.

I did get the Armamentarium as an upgrade to mine (7 more discipline and 2 from max).

I only roll with hand cannons just to mess around .... rarely in serious competition

already own Voidfang for my Warlock and have 2 of the 3 exotic helms for him

might have to consider the Armamentarium for my Titan I am trying to level or a helm engram with hopes it decodes for the Titan

That's what I'm planning on doing... Armam. chest for my baby Titan and roll the dice on the helm engram for Titan too or even my Warlock as only have 1 exotic helm for him. (Thanks for the advice Chess)

The Armamentarium is a great piece of armor. Two grenades, plus those ammo boosts are good too. My only frustration with it being offered is that it's the 4th time in 5 weeks it's been on sale. Plus, and this is my own personal issue, I got one dropped to me on the Nightfall this week.

But if you don't have it, this is the best version that I've seen offered. So grab it. And hope he offers a Titan helmet next week (Inmost Light..c'mon inmost light!)

Inmost Light is my favorite Titan armor piece by quite a stretch, even if it looks kind of boring. It totally changes the Striker's super and makes it more fun to play. I have a lot more fun with the Striker, and I never play Defender except for the Atheon battle on the hard raid. When I do play Defender, I switch to the Saint 14. Edit: I'd switch to Armamentarium for Defender if I had the Titan raid helm.

@ Goot: Do the helm engram before the Armamentarium. Might get a Titan helm.

If I get a Titan helm first, then what? Save my coins or still buy the Armamentarium? Keeping in mind my Titan is only level 9 currently.

Save your coins. That way, if a Suros or another primary pops up next week for 23 coins, you'll be good to go....or if two good armor pieces come up next week.

The Titan's raid helm is likely to be the last raid piece you get, and he has two good helmets, so it's a good gamble to try the engram before getting Armamentarium.

For the first time since finishing my first raid, I got a new shader! Actually, I got 2!

Mr. Cryptarch has been kind. First he gave my Warlock the Thunderdevil, and then my Hunter was just granted Frostfire. Frostfire looks great on my Hunter. Thunderdevil is nice too, but I'm probably going to put it on my Titan.

I found that Thunderdevil only worked on the Hunter.

I did get two of The Last Word and I like them. I went in to a few Public events and took down a few Fallen Captains up close without any problem.. Essentially it's a single shot at a distance and full auto up close. Doesn't have the stability feel of The Devil You Know but close to mid range it does work. I like the fact just a few rounds and the enemies are staggered & reeling. I do like the "Old West" style of using your hand to pull the hammer back and a twirl of the gun after a kill or reload.

I might get it just for the animation then. Still need another SC though. I think I am one short.

For those considering the Armamentarium, this is about as high as the “random roll” for the chest piece gets. It's way above average from what you may expect.

Got lucky. Xur's engram turned into the Helm of Inmost Light. Now I just need to level up my Titan. Though I am still tempted by the Last Word or Armamentarium.

Yeah, we were at Atheon and couldn't find a 6th. I considered inviting you, but then someone else from my friends list joined up and nearly blew the whole thing up. No mic, and when he teleported he'd grab the shield, even though he had no idea what to do with it.

Safe to say he was quickly eliminated from both our game and my list. So the other 5 of us finished off Atheon, and then we decided to start a new Raid. It was getting late, and I wasn't sure how far we were going to get before people started dropping out. Turns out the 5 of us got back to Atheon.

well after getting nothing but shards/energy on our partial hard raid run the cryptarch decided that wasn't good enough and proceeded to kick me in the balls

spent motes of light with Xur trying for a helm for my Titan (3rd character, trying to overtake my Hunter)
first engram gets me Light Beyond Nemesis which I had drop for me last week for my Warlock ... This new one with worse stats (6 less strength)
second engram even worse as it decodes into Achlyophage Symbiote for a hunter

guess that evens out the fairly good run of luck I was having

had a Thunderlord drop for me as a reward in the Crucible late last night
already have one but I guess 2 Thunderlords are better than 1

as for TLW, having a bunch of fun with it on patrols (where I mainly use my HC if ever) and some story missions
Used it a lot on a long Iron Relic farming run King and I did last night

for those who ever get the Pocket Infinity exotic bounty (Shattered Memory Fragment), just want to confirm there is a partial timesaver you can use on the last portion (200 fusion rifle kills in the nightfall) that will prevent you from being kicked into orbit upon death

Another week done for my Warlock, and another week of no boots.

I just ran through the Raid on both normal and hard with some buddies that chess introduced me to. Got nothing on normal as I already did that on everyone, but then we went through the Oracles on hard and I got a few things. I got my 4th Found Verdict, aka Ascendent Energy. Also got some shards. Yay.

Then we got to the gatekeeper and I switched out to my Warlock. Took a few runs but we knocked it out and I got Hezen Vengeance for the first time. I'm one gun away from getting the complete raid set (c'mon Praetorian Foil!). Then we had a rough run on Atheon, but we got it done, and I got more energy and a second Aspect Of Glass ship.

I still have gatekeeper and Atheon hard drops remaining this week. Maybe I'll get a shot at them before reset.

so as alluded to above, I am not one to turn down an exotic bounty when I get one
I have completed the ones for Thorn and Bad Juju on my Warlock

I've been sitting on the last part of the Pocket Infinity bounty which was given to my Hunter

I tried starting the final stage (200 fusion rifle kills in the nightfall) earlier this week and quit at 4 when my level 25 Hunter took a snipe hit during the first part of the no respawning zone and I got kicked back to orbit

used the method above which allows for respawning and completed the bounty at 1:00 am CT this morning

was a bit of a slog since I am underpowered at 25 (not investing any more to level up my hunter before my 3 created Titan character) but luckily I had my handy IceBreaker to help replenish my unleveled up Wizard 77 fusion rifle

chase and gooter each joined me for a bit as both are working on the same bounty

word of advise to those doing this (especially without the IceBreaker and even more so if your are well under level 28) .... use your primary to get your prey down to a sliver of health and then use your fusion rifle as ammo is scarce
