The packaging looks badass!

I was a little sad picking this up from BB and seeing all the cool special editions behind the counter.

I haven't played it yet, but am confident that the answer to your question is: Yes, yes it is badass.

I've got about 4 hours in it so far, and yes, it is very badass. I do have a couple of complaints.
1. It's a bit buggy. Guys have gotten stuck in walls/ground, have had to restart a mission because of it.
2. Travelling can be kind of a bitch, seems like it takes longer (bigger area) to run back and forth turning in missions. Good news is, there are more fast travel stations than before it looks like, and there is a nice overview map now when you use it.

It seems my preorder wasn't processed properly so I didn't get my bonus codes. It's going to be a blast working with CS to try to get it figured out.

It's great so far, but I do have a couple of nitpicks:

Not enough inventory space!
For some bizarre reason, they removed "Weapon Zoom" as a stat.

Amazon? I'm wondering where my codes are as well. I guess that's what I get for pre-ordering as soon as possible. This has happened before too.

Sorry, Best Buy for me. People at CAG are saying the codes were printed on their receipts, but mine aren't.

I pre-ordered from Amazon, haven't received my pre-order code or my promo bonus. Should I be worried, or are others in the same boat?

I think we're okay. I jumped the gun thinking starman meant Amazon and he had heard others were getting theirs. It's still day-of and the deliveries haven't even been made yet. If we don't have it by CoB tomorrow, I'll start worrying.

boy I sure do suck at this game. I'm still level 3 and already died twice

After reading this and hearing about several other people doing the same, I kept thinking "I need to be careful not to do that." Was exploring around Sanctuary just now and did the exact same thing. It's way too easy to do, especially when you get into the habit of pressing the "Open" button on every container you see. Ah well, at least I have another key coming from Amazon. I'll remember to save that one for a higher level.

You should have one, yes. You also get another for signing up for Gearbox's new social network called Shift. You can do that from the main menu of the game (or the web, but then you just have to link your account in-game anyway).
