I've got your back on that Chew.

I think we had just sorted out the best way to do RF:G (random packs) when we quit playing last year so you could watch TV.

That said, the novelty of the destruction in that game has been completely supplanted by BC2, and Warhawk is still a smoother third person shooter.

I know...just

That's why I really like BC2, Burnout, Borderlands and Resistance 2. We don't need many of us to show up to have a good time. RF:G needs at least 6-8.

How late are you guys planning on going tonight? I will try to join after the daughter goes to bed if there are people still on.

BFBC2 was a whole lot of fun. Glad I picked that up! It's gonna take me a while to level up enough to really be competitive-- but I enjoyed the hell outta it.

Re: Return of the Weekly Rotating Games Night (PS3)

Awesome times tonight!

I was rocking the shit out of the Carl Gustav...got at least a half dozen chopper kills and countless tanks. Then somewhere along the way, I equipped the ammo upgrade and the explosives upgrade and started using it as my primary gun. I was laughing my ass off the whole rest of the night...just lighting dudes up and blasting walls that they were hiding behind.

At one point, we had two full squads of 4 rocking the same server on the same team. My friends Lee, Gonzo and Pat were on a squad...Spatula was on early and late...Cruz, Murray and Shumway were on for several hours...sounds like excom was on too, but I wouldn't recognize the PSN name.

I got booted once because my kid was surfing Youtube on his Wii, and I ended up on the opposite team from all of you guys. That's when the Gustav was just coming into full effect. Super douchey. And I came inches from snatching Cruz's dogtags.

Re: Return of the Weekly Rotating Games Night (PS3)

Good times last night. Spent time going between the engineer and the recon doing a ton of spotting, motion mine detecting and combat sniping. As the night rolled on I got into a groove and was just hitting headshot after headshot of attackers. One match or rush I counted 11 headshots. At one point later in the night I had decided to whip out the Carl Gustav and was using it as my primary weapon also - gotta love surprising someone and sending them flying from a short range rocket to the face.
BTW - my favorite dogtag - frizby's.

Also spent a couple of multiplayer matches in Killzone 3 - color me impressed. Controls felt way better than the beta - not nearly as sluggish (smoother for sure)a nd the maps are more varied than KZ2. I may end up keeping it if I like some more of the maps and modes.

Thanks guys, definitely had a blast last night. Finally got my recon kit upgraded a little and a gun I like, so I ended up rocking that most of the time for spotting and sniping. Fun times.

I had fun, too. Thanks for letting me play. I'd only had the game approximately twenty minutes before we played so I was a total noob yet it was good times.

If you ever see me on, send me a note.

I wish I'd thought to switch to Conquest, as you could probably have unlocked some stuff. Points come quickly in Conquest, as long as you're going after flags...and then once you get the med kit, you can just drop them near flags and points just pile up.

Played a good bit tonight with Murray and a couple of friends. Was excited that he got an Apache takedown with the Carl Gustav!

I was ultra-pumped for the takedown with the CG! Good times dominating those first few rounds as well. The come-back win was also especially rewarding.

Re: Return of the Weekly Rotating Games Night (PS3)

Hell yeah!

My favorite moment was on Oasis when a sniper took me out from an island and I saw the gun flare before I died. Your buddy revived me a few seconds later and I Gustaved the spot where I saw the muzzle flash. Got that bastard!

On most maps, I'm more productive as the medic, but I'm having a lot of fun with the engineer.

I don't think I did and I forgot what your PSN ID is. I got a handful of invites this weekend but I think they were randoms (impressed by my skills?) so I didn't add any of them. I usually add that I am from DVDTalk when I friend you guys.
