Sales are few and far between.
pinata:
I play way too often and love the game too much to hold off for months and months hoping for an eventual hypothetical sale.

And then I mention how much we need Cake in the game as well. It is a well tread track... but damnit... it still needs said! Mental Jewelry is such a good album it would all be a blast to play.

The 90s are sorely underrepresented... broken record. But yeah, I'm with you guys. Where's Crash Test Dummies dammit!
They revealed their new album name and cover today(no release date yet), so I'm keeping hope alive for a RB tie-in.

They apparently announced it on their facebook page. It's not even on their official site yet(or wasn't earlier today anyway).

If anyone else became a fan of Bang Camaro thanks to this video game, you may be interested in this article

I got to see them once, had a ton of fun, and then had a few beers with the guys in the band. It was an epic night with my friends that all began because of this video game.

Coincidentally, on my little road trip today, I had "The Distance" come up on the iPod and I flashed back to all the talk about Cake in these threads, most notably when I said something like "I hate when artists get all artisty".
Also, Crash Test Dummies would be awesome. God Shuffled His Feet is such a good album (and song). We need some Soul Asylum too.

Come up to Toronto. 10 years ago or so Cake was on stage at a festival called Edgefest and so many people were booing and throwing plastic bottles towards the stage, that they called it quits after 2 and a half songs, leaving the stage and not coming back... making way for headliners NICKELBACK
A lot of Cake fans (myself included) were pissed. The Cake haters rejoiced.

I like Cake!
Wasn't there an explanation at some point as to why there wasn't any Cake in RB? Didn't RB want to use their biggest hit, and Cake is one of those bands that hates their hits?

I'm not much of a Cake fan, but I do love "Short Skirt, Long Jacket." I don't know if that's their biggest hit or not, probably not.

I think "Never There" was their biggest hits, with "The Distance" right behind it. I would also like "Friend is a Four Letter Word", "Frank Sinatra" and their cover of "I Will Survive".

I also saw Cake at a festival (I was there to see The Flaming Lips) and the entire time they played I fantasized about putting a drill to my skull.

I don't get The Flaming Lips AT ALL. They're from my hometown and everyone has a hard-on for them and are always trying to get me to go to a New Year's Eve show in downtown OKC and every year I listen to their recommendations and I pass. Then I hear how they raped "Dark Side of the Moon" and I get violent.
Toby Keith is also from my hometown so, yeah, stay away from the musical fuckface that is central Oklahoma.

Flaming Lips will still always be "She Don't Use Jelly" to me. Which is terrible. Unfair? Sure, but that's life.
