Are any stores doing the extra 30 song pre order with only the game + adapter?

Wrong thread for RB4 talk. But, no, they're not. Also the 30 bonus songs are things you probably already have.

If you pre-order the game (with Guitar or Band In A Box version) directly from Mad Catz this weekend, you can use the code LDY25 and save 25% (and you also get free ground shipping). The deal won't work on just the game + adapter bundle since it has a $125 minimum.

The Band In A Box version comes to $187.49 and the Guitar bundle comes to $97.49. Ordering the Band set saved me about $30 over the Best Buy GCU deal since I didn't have to pay tax in NV. That makes the bundle a lot more reasonable to me.

But what of the pre-order songs?

Not GCU, my game buying is too minimal to do that. So 25% is a nice save.

Does that 25% off actually apply to Rockband 4? According to the *, pre-orders are excluded from that offer. The fine print states that the deal only applies to items that are in stock.

Weird. Yeah, it was working on the Guitar bundle yesterday and dropped it under a hundred, but not working now.
The Band In A Box bundle does still work though with that code

RB4 is stretching out a little bit with more Bosstones and "Weird Al" finally, not to mention nerdcon darlings (and personal favorites) The Protomen. Some RBF isn't impossible.

So a buddy told me the recent 360 update broke customs. He had to redo his jump drive. Anyone else run into that yet?

Yep, the file system changed. I don't remember the details but I think in the end its less steps now, you basically need to format it as FAT32 or ex-FAT (maybe even NTFS) and drop the files in a specifically named folder.

Speaking of customs, in an hour or so they'll drop the final batch of songs.
