Just picked up my copy earlier today. I'm "working" from home for the rest of the afternoon, so I will post impressions shortly.

I can already tell I am not going to be very good at this in multiplayer. Trying to aim with a joystick is not my bag.

Does BB usually have a limited amount of the preorder bonus things available, or is it truly preorders only?

GTAIV had auto-aim as an option in multiplayer. Perhaps this will as well?

Mine showed up from amazon, and the neat thing is the golden guns dlc is in the game case, not an email like amazon says on their website....nice...

Love the slipcover. If only they had left the stupid IGN quote off.

I just jumped into Free Roam, and holy crap is it fun.

And I just shot someone's hat off

The first order of business for the PS3 posse is to pool our money together and buy scott1598 a copy of Red Dead for the 360.

That's cool. Though it kills my idea of buying now and replacing when that arrives. I reckon that's probably not up to snuff anyway though.

Games pretty good so far. Starts off kind of slow, so I've gone exploring after the first couple missions. Some intense stuff - I just came across a man who was crying over the corpse of his murdered wife. On his knees, he proceeded to take his pistol and shoot himself in the head!

Of course, I looted their bodies.

And apparently the Rockstar code unlock server is down.

Am I the only one that didn't get a fucking slipcase. BB and Target didn't have it. Is this a store exclusive?

It only comes with the Gamestop special edition.

I just picked up my copy from BestBuy and the War Horse code is inside the game case, so if they have copies of the game on the shelf you should be good.

I hope they release this dlc (exclusives) on the PS store for a few bucks or so.

Mine didn't have a code in the case. Hmm...

I only got to play this game for about 5 minutes at lunchtime, but I already want to have its babies.

Edited to add: From reading the discussions at Amazon, it looks like about half the people got the golden guns code inside the case, and half didn't. For the ones who did, it's on the back of the co-op ad insert. For the rest of us, we got an...ad for Max Payne 3.
