Finally purchased my first theme today . It was a Memphis Grizzlies theme for $1.99. Well worth it, I can't wait for NFL themes.

Any suggestions for a PS3 that has the video, when playing games, shifted to the right? We are using an LG DLP tv with HDMI connection.

Here's a Titans theme:

I do it on the PS3 browser, but you could also just save it on a thumb drive and transfer it.

Google PS3 themes. There are about a million free ones out there.

Have any of you ever had trouble with your download history before? I went to re-download some TV episodes that I purchased (to own) a week ago and now they are completely gone from my list. Only a couple of them are still there. It's very weird considering I've only downloaded them once before so there is no way I maxed out the 5 times limit.

In my experience owned shows never stay on the download list unless your download was interrupted.
That's why you'll see a blue shopping bag next to the purchased shows. If you delete them, you have to pay for them again. Red bag items you can download indefinitely.

Nope, everything else seems fine. It's a friends setup, so I don't much of the details. I went into the PS3 menu trying to see if there were any video settings to monkey with, but couldn't find anything useful. His plan is just to but a new TV.

Does this only happen with PS2 games or PS3 games as well? I had a similar problem with some PS2 titles when using the up-converting the system has.

It could be a convergence issue for that input (HDMI). There might be a fix in the TV's service menu. I would have your friend do some surfing on the forum for his TV at AVS. It really sounds like a TV issue not a PS3 issue,

I suggested that, I don't think he cares. It drove me nuts though.

I'm sure she would have gotten it all back due to the Other OS removal.

Wow, I havent read about this yet. It is probably in this thread actually, but this new DRM I'm hearing about that is aimed against unauthorized movies. It is pretty cool. It is called Cinavia and it uses inaudible audio queues in the audio track of the movie and checks that with the source. If the source and the audio track don't match then boom, no sound or it stops playing. The ps3 added this also apparently with the last update.
I think it's a good thing honestly. These people who make the movies deserve the money. I'm glad they were able to do something without totally screwing the end user with some weird DRM that makes you jump through hoops
Looks like all blu-ray players will have this soon

"Cinavia has been adopted as a required component of the AACS content protection system. Blu-ray players with Cinavia detectors began entering the consumer market in late 2009."

It's like a digital watermark that disables the sound in the movie. The hope is people will give up trying to watch it if they can't get the sound to work on them.

It sounds like it's sort of the audio equivalent of that CAP system (or whatever it was called) for theatrical prints. They had yellow dots on the print that would still show through even if the film was recorded with a camcorder. By varying the patterns by location, supposedly they could use it to track where the bootlegs were coming from.
In this case, the patterns are in the audio. It sounds like they will even be picked up if the audio is transcoded or recorded from a line-out, because some examples given are camcorder bootlegs where they don't have access to the digital sound. The system will look for these kinds of audio patterns, and if it finds them it will check to see how the program is being played. If they put these on DVDs/BDs and the real disc is played, there will be no issues (assuming there aren't false positives). However, if the sound from a disc is captured and put into a file like AVI or MKV, the system will shut it down because the pattern it recognizes is supposed to come from a disc version.
At least, that's my understanding from what I've read so far. We'll just see if these queues are "inaudible" or not.
