Played the P.B. demo and bought the full version as soon as the demo ended. Get some pie, y'all.

I played Winterbottom some more tonight and didn't even realize an hour had gone by when I checked the clock for the first time. Some of the stuff you have to do is tricky, like record yourself falling at the correct angle to get the pie.

The time challenges are nuts, but the reel challenges are pretty easy. It's easily worth 800 pts IMO.

Dammit, how are any of us supposed to get a deal if you don't take one for the team?

I played part of the Winterbottom demo and liked it as well, but not enough to buy it right now. Too many other games waiting to be played. It seemed very Braid-ish to me.

Does anyone know if you downloaded the demo already, would you still be able to buy the game? Wasn't sure if d/ling the demo gets you the whole game and the pmt is just to unlock access at that point.

That is how it works, but the question is: can you still unlock access? The Amazon code fiasco says no.

That being said, is Perfect Dark Zero worth seeking out and playing for $5-$10? I avoided it because some people said it was awful. How does it stack up against the original though in terms of gameplay and story?

I didn't care for PDZ all that much, very generic shooter. You may get $5 of enjoyment out of it, though. As an XBLA title it would be hailed

I'm sure the game is getting over-hyped by Goldeneye fans from the N64 days, but at the same time, this looks pretty fun and there's NO WAY this game won't be worth at least the paltry 800 points they're asking. This is an insta-buy for me. Expect it to be on sale for 400 points by mid-July.

I'll probably pick it up for the MP. Now, if Rare would just give the same treatment to Conkers BFD, I would be in heaven.

Since it's been playable from the first day the 360 debuted and until this April, and since it's been on demand since the launch of that program, I don't imagine there's really that a big demand for that particular title in HD.

Only problem with the remake is the dialogue was censored in places.

And it didn't include that kick-ass beach map in multiplayer, either. I spent more time playing that than I did the rest of the N64 game put-together. Really disappointed it wasn't in the remake.

Yeah, Im talking the N64 one, the xbox version was a terrible follow up.

XBLM Deal of the week:
I'm seriously considering picking this up. Since Doom II is still MIA after it was announced last March at GDC, if I recall correctly, I'm feeling the need for a nice old school FPS fix.

On MN's show, they also said that Battleship (Family Game Night) would be 50% off.

I paid the full 800 points for this one and still think it was an excellent deal. Much fun to be had. (even though I am much suckier than I remember at it).

Oh for anybody is curious to my Paperboy incident last week, I did finally get a promotional credit of $5 on my account. Had to finally call because they were content on bouncing me around email after email until I did something more to the point. Lesson learned I suppose.

I'd venture on the side of no. Others can correct me if I'm wrong, but it downloads a small access file when you confirm your purchase. My guess is that they would take that away once they delisted it. *sigh*, off to play my copy of Midway Arcade Classics for PS2. Silly achievements.
