@ people being relieved their favorite songs are not in Gutiar Hero.

I'm still annoyed that "Stacy's Mom" by Fountains of Wayne was in GH: Van Halen (of all things), and the group isn't in Rock Band.

I now have a love hate relationship with Guitar Hero. Love the artists, hate the game.

I really hope this is the nail in the coffin for this lost franchise. Let it go Activision, let it go.

We could put the nail in the coffin on this board and lock this puppy up and agree to never talk about it ever again.

I want Guitar Hero to stick around to provide competition. Not that I don't think Harmonix would do a good job regardless, but I believe Rock Band is a better game for having had to compete with GH.

The real shame is that GH5 felt like a step in the right direction. So what do they do? Follow it up with a game that has a middling setlist and a bunch of fantasy bullshit.

Yeah I don't want Guitar Hero to go away. I'd like it to get better. Competition is always good.

It's nice to want things, but clearly those in charge of the Guitar Hero franchise have completely lost touch with what people want out of a music game.
