I didn't know you had to feed your fish after every mission, I went into Shepard's cabin and they were all floating at the top of the aquarium:lol:
It said "clean out dead fish" so I was like "okay." I guess I thought one of the crew fed them or something. Who feeds the hamster? |

Sorry but I'm in the middle of ME1 but can someone give me a few tips on the following....
I'm playing as a Soldier and have Garrus in m squad. I have his "Electronics" almost half way. At was at "peak 15" and where you have the option using electronics to fry the creatures it said "not enough electronic experience" or something like that. Why is that and do I need to put more points in that or somewhere else? What's the best way to deal with all the stuff you pick up, ammo, shield mods and weapons? Convert to "Gel" or sell? I'm at the half way mark (level 27) with only 136K an have yet to buy anything which I'm also unsure what's best considering the prices. Playing as the Soldier there's more areas to add points. I've almost maxed out Armor, 2/3 the way on Assault rifle, 1/3 on both Pistol and Shotgun and three on Sniper. I'm (7) on Charm, maxed on Soldier. Which other areas should I concentrate on maxing out in terms of health, Spectre or weapons? Do you find yourself running out of omni gel to repair the Mako? Are you using omni gel to open the lockers, crates, etc? By the middle of the game, I had over a million credits, and finished maxed out at 999,999,999. After that, I coverted all my extra items and gear to gel. Make sure you try and max out charm. I think eventually it goes to 8 or 9 but I could be wrong. I put points in Spectre when I was playing. |
Re: Mass Effect 2 - 360 and PC
I just hit disc 2, and am 24 hours in.
I am sticking to side quests and loyalty quests before I even move onto the main quest again. I assume I'll be well past 40+ hours (maybe 50) by the time I am done. Can anyone tell me what transfers over to new game plus without having to spoiler it or is that not possible? When I am done, I might start a whole new character just to try a different class. |

so apparently there's one loyalty mission where you can actually fuck it up and they won't be loyal to you.

I think that's true for all the second-round recruits.

Re: Mass Effect 2 - 360 and PC
So I just encountered an extremely annoying bug.
I was scanning the planet where Jacob's loyalty mission is located, and found a good vein of an element, so sent a probe to collect it. That gave me enough of that element to unlock a new upgrade, which kicked me out of the scanner, and when I pressed Y to start it up again to go to the anomaly, it had disappeared. Now I can't finish that mission. :( |

Re: Mass Effect 2 - 360 and PC
I've got a question about the characters that have Biotic Powers. Is there any upgrades for their arm during the game like everything else?
In ME1 I'm probably the half-way mark and using Liara. I've yet to see any upgrades for Biotic Arm or Amp? I did find another Biotic Arm one of the merchants has in the Ward section at the Citidal but I'm unsure of what these settings are. .....................Shield - Tech Cooldown - Recharge Current Arm......5................0....................5 Merchant ........15...............5....................0 |

Re: Mass Effect 2 - 360 and PC
Mass Effect 2 sold over 2 million copies WW in less than a week. (4 days to be exact)....which means it almost sold what the first one did in less than a week.
http://play.tm/news/28808/mass-effec...p-two-million/ Naughty Dog has to be scratching their heads on that one. Uncharted 2 was a huge hit, no doubt...selling near 3 million copies, including 800,000-950,000 the first week, but.... Just like Mass Effect 2, Uncharted 2 was a sequel to a very well received game that sold very well. Both games have a 96 on metacritic. Uncharted 2 won just about every award you can get, and was pushed HARD. The PS3 and Xbox world wide are very close now in total units. The first Uncharted actually outsold Mass Effect 1. Yet....Mass Effect 2 more than doubles Uncharted 2's first week sales, and looks to top Uncharted 2 in two weeks of sales. What does Naughty Dog have to do to get their game into Gears of War/Halo/Call of Duty/Grand Theft Auto/Assassins Creed levels? These games, even on the PS3, sold way better than Uncharted 2. Just like movies I guess quality does not always equal sales. Unless you are Mass Effect 2...which I hope sales 10 million copies. |
Re: Mass Effect 2 - 360 and PC
Maybe they should release Uncharted 3 on 360?
Back on topic... I like how after you start pursuing someone, the picture of Ashley Williams is face down on his desk. Nice touch. I have to say I'm finding the game a bit repetitive and I can only take it in small doses. I played the Tali "Loyalty Mission" and I was hoping it would just be about talking points... but they had to throw in some shooting robots and such and such. I'm probably one of the few that enjoys the talk aspect of the game more than the shooting. The fighting gets repetitive but talking hasn't gotten boring. |
