How about suggesting some rule tweaks for the Douchebag map? That should get the conversation flowing.

And can we please contain the douchebag to Douchebag?

The tweak that seems to make the most sense:

No Warhawks for Laypeople. That way we can still use turrets against the Dbags and they can use TOWs without airborne interference. And to TOW without being challenged in the air IS supremely douchey. So it fits. I also think we should add knives because what true douche wouldn't stab someone in the back. This would give them a weapon when they're plum out of the tools of douchebaggery.

Tools for the Douchebags:

Knives
Mines
Binocs
Snipers
TOWs
Air Mines (but no purpose except for teamkilling now)

edit: Knives can overlap for laypeople too. So if a Layperson kills a Douche with a mine, binoc, sniper rifle, air mine or TOW, they become the Douchebag in Purgatory.

But layman can still knife, right?

I do think only having Warhawks (w/TOWs) for Team Douche would be a good balancing.

With nearly everyone in the air during the first attempt at this mode, it made most of their weapons pretty pointless. This should be more even.

Yeah it was a lot more fun when I started exploring the map in a jeep trying to find some regular old mines. I don't understand how these douchebags can binoc a jeep.

I just hope whatever map is selected has some good cover. There's nothing worse than being in the middle of nowhere and hearing that hiss of impending doom.

Oh, I see it's Island Outpost - Bridge Out. Hmmm, not a lot of good hiding spots there.

I'll work out a good map for it. I'll run solo around Tau Crater and see what I can find in the way of mines.

Was looking to accommodate Chew, who needs a place to hide...but I guess we at least have the base on Bridge Out.

I can't imagine Douchebag without jetpacks, so they are in.

3 dropship maps...lots of jetpacks...a collection...and a zones.

Reveals the fatal flaw for Douchebag, namely the fact that the douches don't really care about the rules.

Fun games tonight all around. Numbers were a bit low, but it was a great time. I think we had 5 on 5 at one point, but that was the best it got.

I also really liked that tower map, and I think that zones map had potential. I like only having 3 points to fight over for a group our size.

Slider, I think, had a great moment of catching my jeep in mid-air with his Warhawk...a bit of a role reversal.

And Ian is already the most unnerving of you bitches in the air (digi notwithstanding). Needs to work on his ground game though.

my favorite part of douchebag was throwing the mine on the missile turret. I had to take the long route so you did not see me.

Jumped off suddenly last night because my dogs started barking and then i heard something outside. Had to patrol the property since there has been some nocturnal break ins. All was clear - Nothing to report.

yep...I was just lobbing missiles aimlessly...figured you'd make your way down eventually.

i wish i knew how many times Slider suicide TOWed me last night...had to have been at least 10-12 times.
