Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Speaking of douchey, I did something awesome to Steve last night.

On Installations, he grabbed our flag and ran into our bldg, and I could see on my map that he was right in the corner. So I stuck a biofield on the outside of the wall knowing the effect would go through the wall. Suffice to say he was surprised by this and he ran toward the middle of the room where I was waiting at the door.

Once he sorted out the sequence of events, he says: "There will be ramifications!"

Of course he got me once too. I was taunting somebody in an AA turret...just circling around them and staying behind them but not shooting them. I must've done it for 30-40 seconds. Steve runs up the hill to the missile turret and suffice it to say that I was screwed. I guess he'd seen enough.

But biofields are the last frontier in my quest to become a full-fledged Warhawkian douchenugget.

I'm all for Douchey, but I think it is funny that Chess doesn't think they are douchey, while condemning the use of regular mines...

i know you already mentioned it, but right after that, when he started running with the flag out of the base...that was gold...like the time Ktown, i think it was him, said he was looking for flags on the TDM...

Especially in a K&N grinder match.

Please. Biofields are super easy to escape, super hard to get close enough to use effectively and are comedy gold.

Mines (and TOWs for that matter) are insta-kills and can be used in uber-cheap super-douchey ways.

Biofields and the occasional perfectly placed grenade are the only things jeeps have to fear on Grinder, which makes them valuable. Plus, as previously mentioned, they are funny as shit.

Finally,

That might be the funniest thing I've ever heard come over my headset.

What are you doing???
Looking for flags.
It's team death match.
Oh.

I see Mistressbeef just registered with the forum to post in the MW2 thread.

chess: Even though you don't "want them to", I'm surprised none of your work buddies have joined. Considering the group name in Warhawk, it's not hard to find.

Most of them work for me...so they're likely keeping a safe distance.

by "work for me," do you mean you pay them to show up on Warhawk so people think you have RL friends...does you Girlfriend work for you too?

cause she works for me...

Something like that.

I normally get monetary compensation for this. I'll expect your check next week...or there will be..."consequences".

Added to OP...kind of funny since it's from 2007...lots of PS3 bashing.

I may not be joining you guys this week as I have a prior commitment (that involves alcoholic beverages ) and I may not be home until Grinder time (DLC whores).

Holy crabapple. That's some serious vitriol.

I don't remember ever regretting my PS3 purchase. Was I supposed to? Maybe I should go back and retroactively regret my purchase so I can then be retroactively assuaged by my Warhawk love. And then post a bazillion times in one thread about that very thing.

Well, maybe I did that last part. But initially I'd make my posts about Warhawk more suspicious because it's not on the 360.

Something, like:

"No goddamn way this stupid game makes up for all those stupid dollars I spent on this fat bastard that runs too fucking hot. It's like a Darth Toaster for fucksake."

Fuck off, Chew.

Sorry, man. I'm just so angry about buying a PS3-- Oh fuck that! I bought two. I might as well go jump off a bridge. I've got plenty to choose from.
