Yes please...will let you know otherwise.

I strongly suspect that Lee will buy the DLC...if not this week, next week. Hard to say with Cruz, but if this were called Call of Duty: Warhawk, he'd be turning tricks right now to get it.

But once we all know it, I think it will be a fun map. Structurally, it kind of reminds me of Archipelago (jumping off cliffs to escape enemy base...down into a valley...convoluted drive up to your base).

Bummed about Lost by the way. They dumped all the cool sci-fi stuff for a bunch of touchy-feely, metaphysical, dimestore philosophy, pseudoreligious blech.

Yeah, the more I think about the finale, the less I like it.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I leave for a few days and you cocksuckers let it slip off the front page!

And by cocksuckers, I don't mean to imply ownership. I meant "you guys" in general...not that nic, Steve, Slider and Flip...specifically...are cocksuckers.

I'm hanging out in Reno...wishing I could play on Tuesday, especially since I could play on PST.

What's the plan Chew? Did Lee send you a friend invite? I haven't briefed him on K&N at all, and I don't know whether he's picked up the DLC.

I went through and picked out a map rotation this morning. It's all non-DLC and I wasn't planning on K&N.

No friend invite from Lee as yet.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

So i picked up RDR and played a little last night, the story mode seemed cool, but I'm not a big single player person...

So far, I absolutely loathe the online multiplayer. I met up with Cruz and Sauce last night, but I spent most of the time trying to catch them. When i did catch them, we would join a mission, and then i would end up disconnected from them and by myself or still connected with them via headset, but alone in a shootout. Then when it would respawn me, I would end up on the other side of the map, which would take me 10 minutes to meet up with them, by then they were done with the next mission. It was FUCKING FRUSTRATING!
Then after you guys left I figured I'd amble around and try to join a nother posse, but the only one near me kept riding up and shooting me and laughing over and over and over...then i decided to do a few missions on my own since everyone else on is a douchebag. Then, while trying to complete the mission, there was a guy who was like a 35 that kept shooting me from behind, while i was running around and killing all the members from some gang.
It reminded me of all the bad things about city of Heroes/Villians after they introduced PvP, and it was REALLY pissing me off !

So I quit, and went to bed at like 3:30 am...and fucking dreamed about shooting people all night long, catching trains and running through barns while peole are shooting at me...

This morning I woke up and was thinking about it...all i played was free roam, is there a way to just join shootouts and stuff without being in free roam?

I think i might have been doing it wrong when i was alone...I hope so, because if there is a way to just play matches and be put onto teams, it would have been a lot more fun after everyone else logged off...

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Let's see if Sauce can meet up after Warhawk on Tuesday. If you, and Cruz, and maybe Chew if he can find the strength to stay up, can play we'll try some gang matches. there is Free For All, Capture the Flag, Team Death Match, and other types so we should try out some of them. I'll be on if you guys are game.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Can we do that Wednesday night instead? I'd like to try all those, but after Warhawk I'm done for the night.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I'm down for any night other than Thursday. If it needs to be earlier than 9EST then some early notice would be nice, but yeah, Wednesday sounds good to me. We should set a time.

Of course it's company policy never to, imply ownership in the event of a dildo... always use the indefinite article a dildo, never your dildo.

There are private free roam but I don't think you get credit for xp. and it doesn't pop all the trophies. We could do a private freeroam for a little bit to get used to things and then jump into a public map

Hmmmm, I wish I knew if Lee were joining tonight or not. I have all non-DLC maps loaded and if neither of the new guys are showing up, it doesn't make much sense to keep that rotation.

Saturday I joined up with GatorShea, SirDrexl, Maxflier and a few other DVDTalkers for some multiplayer. We managed to get eight in the posse so we could get the trophy. When you're first starting out, the whole experience is a little bit frustrating in free roam. First, you've got a damn donkey. You're last to every party and you basically become the target for whatever random douchenozzle wants to snipe you. But once you get a full posse going and boot the assholes from the room, you can have a pretty good time. We kept going from hideout to hideout raising hell for about 2 hours before I had to ditch. And I have to admit, it was a pretty good time... I thoroughly expected it to be kind of a clusterfuck, but once you figure out the kinks, it's pretty fun. I know there were a few connection issues among the ranks but I never really experienced them. Many things suck about being a greenhorn, but once you level up a bit, you get a real horse a serviceable rifle. And you level up fast doing these missions. I was up above Level 7 or something after only that short time and we spent quite a bit of time screwing around to get that trophy for leading an 8-man posse.
