Good times in Borderlands last night Chew!
I still need a partner for Burnout Paradise...and I'm looking forward to some low-key Warhawk tomorrow with some new players.

I will play some burnout with you if you want to just message me sometime when we are both on. I dont have the expansions yet though. And also I have only played online like 3 times so I have no idea what you are even supposed to do online with that game.

4-5 of us doing freeburn challenges one night a week sounds tremendous.

I know Chew and flip have it, but I don't know what their status is on DLC.

In my defense, that rocket launcher is tremendous.
A triple rocket launcher with 4x flame effect...it makes great splosions and it makes 3 cute little mushroom clouds...plus it has a nice blast radius that catches dudes on fire!
I knew that dude in the arena was hitting us hard with it, so I was pretty excited to take it from him and see the fire effect. Ultimately, I'm more effective with my sniper rifles, but damn that thing is fun to shoot.
Oh, I think the "magic box" has worn out it's usefulness. It's still giving out mid 20s level guns.

I'm thinking we're just about on the final leg of the game.
The one quest we have left looks to lead directly into the endgame stuff.
We might be talking about DLC by the end of the week.

FWIW, the path to the end seemed really pretty long. And the DLC adds quite a bit. Loved the DLC, actually. REMEMBER! Don't pick up the brains until you get the mission!

Newegg sent me a 10% off coupon today and actually has the 120gb Slim in-stock.
Should be here by the end of the week.
I blame chess for convincing me to spend my money.

As much time as you all spend on Borderlands together I'm surprised you haven't 'TOWed' each other's asses already.

We shoot each other plenty both on purpose and accident. I don't think there's team damage.
You can, however, challenge each other to duels. I wouldn't recommend going up against my bird though. That thing is ridiculous.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I'm taking the week off (from work) and have been playing a single player campaign as the siren. She's tough to play at first, and the strategy for her is hard to sort out, but once she's powered up, she's pretty fun to play. I love watching dudes with acid, fire and electrical damage going at the same time.
I'll take hosting duties tonight. I'm thinking about slightly larger variations of a couple of maps since we've had good attendance lately.
