Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Would either of these 2 scenarios be possible. Does KMart do pricematching to ads, wondering since I see Target has the 1-year card on sale right now for $49.99(or since they are taking off $30 if you get GOW3 that would override any attempt at a pricematch if they do)?
And in regards to Target, I know I have been pretty succesful with pricematches. But how are they with "deals". I'm referring to the Kmart deal going on. Would they take the $30 off the 1 year card and also give you a $20 giift card with purchase of GOW3. I've never tried "deals" but just pricematches.

No price matching at Kmart at all.

TRU has a $25 gift card with the purchase of any of these games through Saturday. Driver: San Francisco, Call of Duty Black Ops, Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2012, Dead Island, and X-Men Destiny. I'm really close to picking up Dead Island at that price.

Bit of warning (may be too late). Last time I ordered from this deal it took forever to actually get my delivery. Plus I ordered two at once and only one came in the package. They ended up sending me the second without issue, but just fyi.
I often wondered if doing two separate orders would have been faster in the first place.

How do you people not need the points? I've bought 2 4,000 point codes within the past couple of months and I have 30 points left in my account right now, along with a want list of DLC and Arcade games that's still a mile long.

You must be thrilled with everybody posting "Well I don't need these but I bought it anyway."I've stopped buying Arcade games new any more, since they inevitably go on sale a few months later.

Some people have huge stockpiles of points. I stock up several times a year with a couple hundred dollars worth (at a discount) at a time.

Yep, stopped buying new Arcade games and Rock Band purchases are at 0 since I rarely play anymore. Those were the two biggest point expenditures. That leaves map packs for CoD or Halo which I manage to get for around half by doing the Bing thing.
I probably have 1,000 in my account and another 8k points at home but haven't really needed any in months.

Nope. They keep upping it... at least for me. When I neared the 3k mark(original limit) they upped it to 5k. Looking at it now, it's up to 6k. I've gotten 4,600 in MS points for free. Not to shabby for 2 minutes of work a day. And yes, that's a single account. I'm not that greedy.
If they don't up the limit you can always convert the Bing points to $5 Amazon credit and save/use it on MS points anyway.
Also, they have added a 3 month sub to Hulu+ for 650. Not a bad option either since the service isn't worth paying for, IMO.

Oh, the Hulu+ is intriguing since it only takes 1.5 months to hit 500 points. 650 should only be another week, week and a half.
I'm coming up on my 5th 400MSP reward so I've a ways to go anyway.

Fortunately I've been lucky and 10 out of the last 12 months I've had the 20 point/daily offer. The past two months I've been relegated to a mere 10 +3(bonus) a day.
