Sword & Poker just dropped by 50% to $1.99. That game was at the top of my "wish list", not any more.

I also grit my teeth and bought Chaos Rings for $13 since it had such glowing reviews everywhere and a community rating like I've never seen. I hope to play a little of it tonight during down time of the NFL Draft. I'll try to post impressions.

Heavy Gunner 3D is free today. Reviews look good, downloading now. Some 20-in-1 app tool also free.

Played Heavy Gunner for a few moments and so far I'm liking the control and play.

Sword and Poker is a great game. Pretty simple system: there are 9 cards in a 3x3 grid that are shared, and you take two cards from your hand and place them around the borders (making a 5 x 5 grid) to make poker hands, which damage your opponent. But it has a really cute presentation, and you win coins to upgrade weapons (which can have powers like stealing a card if a certain hand is made, or just simply doing more damage to the opponent), hit points, and shields.

I freaking LOVE Sword & Poker. I'm playing it a lot. In fact I've barely checked out Chaos Rings (which is really impressive BTW) since I'm so into S&P. Go buy it! Best $2 game on the system, easily.

I see that Street Fighter IV has dropped to $6.99 until tomorrow in honor of SSF IV. Any opinions on it? It was an easy pass at $10, but at $7, I'm considering it.

I'm thinking about getting SF4 also. When you say until tomorrow, do you mean it goes back to regular price tomorrow, or tomorrow is the last day of the sale? I almost bought it at $10, and I'm so close to buying it now. I keep looking for reasons NOT to buy it. And the only 2 reasons I can think of are 1) if its any good, and 2) how much would I actually play it?

It went on sale yesterday for three days, or so they claimed. I think it'll be $7 all day tomorrow, but you know these sale prices can change pretty quickly.

Anyone try the iPad version of The Creeps yet? Or the MLB app? Are they streaming video of many games this year?

I'll also recommend Sword & Poker. Addicting game. One of the few that I actually beat on the iphone.

Still playing Wolfenstein and had a 20-year flashback on how to beat the first boss. Wasn't really sure how many levels I'd see after that, but heck if I don't get all the levels plus Spear of Destiny. Worth my 2.99.

Ah, I missed the Heavy Gunner deal.

Just started the Sword & Poker Lite app, and I think I'm hooked as well. Adding to Bargain Bin and Pandoras Box to wait for 99 cents or less.

I thought it was well worth $2. I have already sunk 5 hours into it.

Good sale on a well received game : Space Miner : Space Ore Bust is on sale for 99 cents for a "limited time". It's normally a $4.99 game. Apparently it's an Asteroids-based RPG and is supposed to be pretty fun. It's gotten some good reviews. IGN gave it an 8.0. There's a lite version if you want to check that out. For a buck, I just went ahead and picked it up. I'll post impressions later.

There's a thread on CAG dedicated to iPad sales/recommendations that might help you out more.
