For anybody who's interested, the Japanese PSN store has the costumes available for download (Ape Escape, Pumpkin Head, Robot). I downloaded them, but wasn't able to find them in my costume editor though.

Update: Apparently they do not work on the US game. Ah well, Friday is soon enough anyway.

I was playing with a random group for about a hour or so. I was wondering where that costume came from. The connection was really good if I was really playing with people in japan.

On the platform...jump as soon as you are about to leave the platform while the platform is going up. I could see you were pushing the button on the downward motion instead of upward. GOOD LUCK!

How do you make custom costumes in the first place?

You find those pieces and mix and match them.

I don't think you can. I think all that stuff is just unlockables. The sword on Altair and the Ninja is the one that comes with the Nariko code.

I don't know if it will be the same here in America, but at least in the UK... that free first week rare shirt we were promised has been released on the PSN today... for $8USD (4 pounds).

Makes me think they're gonna charge us $5 on the US store.

Yay.

Man, I don't think I've paid that for a REAL t-shirt in a long time!

Are you shitting me? $5 for a fake t-shirt? I can't imagine how anyone would ever buy that. It would be much better to give away the rare items for in-game accomplishments. As it is now, if you see someone in-game with that t-shirt, all you know about them is that they have poor money management skills.

I said the same thing in the Xbox thread about the Avatar Store and got blasted for saying that to a bunch of people that had multiple pre-orders for this game. And here you go saying it IN THEIR THREAD!

Take cover, gramps.

Hey RockyMtnBri, I tried to accept your friend invite and it gave me some strange message and deleted your invite. Is your PSN ID the same as your username here?

Seriously though...how can you defend charging $5 for something that has zero effect on the game? I could see $1 or $2...maybe...but $5? You can buy full downloadable games for that price! I mean, if you want to throw away your money, more power to you, but I really don't get it.

UncleGramps...

I left the invite out there for a week and then pulled it 'cause you hadn't responded. I'll send you another today.

I tried to invite YOU as a friend on Live and was given the boot because you're too full with friends already. Must be a popular guy...

My current LBP costume is The Bride from Kill Bill.

I have the yellow/black tracksuit, the blood-covered face, the blonde wig, and the bride's veil.

Oops. The PS3 isn't too good at indicating that you have a message in your inbox. I'll be sure to keep an eye out this time.

Nope, I just suck at maintaining my friends list. I'll have to clear out a few people who I never play with or talk to anymore.

Sooooo Awesome! You must post a pic. Of course, you need a katana sword and a Pai Mei sackboy to provide cruel tutelage to your sackgirl.
