FYI..I've put in about 15 minutes or so and am sitting at .04% completion. So I'd estimate it being about a 625 hour game. Give or take obviously.

Had a pretty crazy pre-order experience. I had pre-ordered two copies at two different best buys by accident as well as gamestop. First best buy didn't have any of the dlc nor anything else. Swung by Gamestop and Rockstar had stopped by themselves to hand out t-shirts and posters. Nice enough - the t-shirts weren't all XL. Was able to get a pretty cool Rockstar NYC shirt for myself and a LA Noire one for the gf. The 2nd best buy had all the trimmings- free dlc, free cokes (although they did charge me a 5 cent deposit), free magazines.

Now it's finally time to play!

So i called best buy about the gc only being 10 when I was told by the rep when i ordered in store that i would get 15 and the fact that they didn't have any dlc. I was yelled at and treated very rudely. Called back today and spoke with someone who gave me a 25 dollar gc for my trouble and they are going to look into getting me the dlc.

I will say that for the most part, best buy's customer service is pretty damn good.

I doubt I'll ever be going into a Kmart again after this morning's frustrating experience. It took 1 hour, start to finish, to buy the game.

Gah! Just got notification from Amazon/UPS that my release day package will be delayed 1-2 days due to mechanical problems with the flight. Anybody else?

Stupid UPS - I swear, the 1-2 day stuff I get from amazon through Ontrac arrives with absolutely no problems, ever. But UPS, my god! I've had delays with them before, I've had them lose packages and also deliver late at night, like after 8. Seriously, almost half of the things I get shipped to me from amazon by UPS ends up in some sort of clusterfuck.

Yeah, UPS is pretty terrible. Always have been.

That sucks. I am glad I didn't go through Amazon this time.

That dude in charge of the KMart Gamer stuff is pretty awesome. In store service is always terrible though in my experience.

I picked this up last night at GS I was bored and figured I'd get it early. I had a great time! The fighting is fun as hell for me and I love chasing perps on foot and tackling them. I gotta say I'm very excitied to get back home and keep on playing. I think I'm on my 5th case.

The KMart Gamer guy is trying his best, but it's difficult to undo decades of neglect at the local level.

Kind of funny to see all the kmart bashing.....this is where I usually pick up all my new games from only because I'm very lazy and it's on my ride home from work...haven't had a problem yet but for some reason, this was the first time for a release where I just called them to hold a copy for me.

I didn't have many problems at K-Mart, other than the game not being out yet. I had the person in electronics grab it from the back, and had them verify price on GH:Metallica. Grabbed those and a 1600MSP card, so that I could use my $60 in coupons from the last thing. Everything went very smooth and I was out the door for about $20 with the two games, 1600 point card, and a $20 coupon for later.

I couldn't of had a more different experience. I walked right in at 8 am, pick up my copy of the game from the electronics counter and the customer service rep informed me that I could get another 20 dollar game for free and that a $20 coupon would print upon purchase. They really had their shit together today. I almost picked up 3 d dot heroes but decided on the kiddie Marvel Hero game for my son instead. using the two $15 coupons I got last week, I walked out of the store with L A Noir, Marvel Heroes and a $20 gaming coupon for $32.48 out of pocket.
