Re: Call of Duty: World at War

I am lucky and just don't encounter the glitching that much.

Ridiculous spawning? Check.

I am starting to go back and forth between 4 and 5 to keep things fresh and it is frightening how superior the spawning is in 4.

Double-XP this weekend! Thanks to everyone in the community for their positive response to the free release of the Makin Day MP map and our second title update last weekend!

We’ve decided to celebrate the successful launch of this update with Double-XP Multiplayer! This coming weekend (March 6th – 8th) all players will accrue 2x their normal XP in all playlists – on ALL supported platforms! This includes Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3, PC, and the Nintendo Wii.

Be sure to clear some room on your calendars, as it’s going to be a frag-filled weekend indeed. The action starts Friday morning, and ends Monday morning Pacific Standard Time – see you online!

Re: Call of Duty: World at War

I guess since I have not played WAW as much as COD4 I never got into all the different MP game types (mainly stuck to headquarters and TDM).

Tried War a few weeks back and have been having a blast playing it.

Rainy Chicago Day = WAW day. Let me know if anyone wants to try to get a party together for War.

Re: Call of Duty: World at War

This is my first double XP weekend and I'm feeling a little burned out. I went from level 27 to 39 since yesterday at 5 pm.

Re: Call of Duty: World at War

i hate the tanks. i mean it's actually fun to ride and kill people from inside the tanks, but anyone that gets into the tank is pretty invincible. i mean 4-5 rocket shots to take out a tank, with only 2 rockets in your arsenal? it sucks to go against one. that's why i typically vote against the maps with tanks in them

All it takes is 1 satchel charge strategically placed. Or I can usually take it out with both satchels (with a sticky as back up). I gave up using the rpgs on them.

I've changed all my classes now tho since I don't need satchels anymore with the removal of tanks. Makes having the tank perks useless as well as the tank challenges. So much for ranking up faster.

I just wished they would have added the ability to board a tank and drop a grenade in it.

I've been playing HCTD and there haven't been any tanks on any of the tank maps.

They still exist in War, TDM, Headquarters. Guessing it is just a Hardcore change.

Yes. They only took out the tanks on the Hardcore playlists.

That makes sense. Hardcore is for campers and pussies.

The vehicles were one of the things that drove me back to CoD4. I hated the things (especially since i mostly played Hardcore).

I don't mind the tanks in HC... I took it as much as I dished it out.

I wonder how much they're charging for it. I'm still getting used to Daylight Makin.
