Re: Call of Duty: World at War

I was only aware of the under the map glitch in Castle, and another under the map glitch on a level I forgot the name of. We were playing against a whole team of morons that started jumping up and down in front of a door and I threw a grenade at them. Easy kills.

Then they got underneath with a flamethrower, and it was all over.

Yeah, did they ever fix the glitch in Round House where you try to get in through the outside wall? I loved camping to the right of that spot and just mow them down or give 'em a tank round as they tried to hump the wall.

Re: Call of Duty: World at War

Just finished cod4, and started playing online, it's a great experience and pretty easy to pickup. It seems the online experience with this game is totally different, how is it compared to cod4? Thanks

Re: Call of Duty: World at War

IMO the online play is the same as CoD4 with you having to get used to WWII weapons. The perk system is the same.

Yep, though they did get rid of the Golden Guns, making it pretty much worthless to try and get 500 head shots with each bolt action rifle this time around.

Re: Call of Duty: World at War

Is there any benefit to leveling up past 65 aside from opening up another class slot? Do you end up giving up all your weapons when you go to Prestige 1?

all your weapons and perks will go away until you earn them. it's nice for the extra slots, but i don't see myself prestiging more than twice.

^^^^ Well that sucks ass. It's totally made me lose my zest for the game now. On to Gears of War 2, Dead Space or Batman Lego.

What did you expect from it? Gold Gun challenges?

Suweeeet! Now if they can only patch respawn points so I don't find myself among 4 enemies that respawned 5 feet from me.

Or in the middle of a dogs mouth!

So there aren't gold guns in this one? What the hell would I try and complete all of the challenges for then?

Yesterday I managed to spawn right behind an entire team practically. I chucked the 2 satchel charges and bolted. I got 4 out of the 6

The subway map should make for a fun mp level.

The prestige thing really isn't worth it just for the extra weapons slots, imo. I'm at 45 on the 2nd prestige and this will certainly be my last.

yeah that's how i feel too. i'm on the first prestige right now, and i'm thinking that the second extra slot is all that i would need

I don't know, all I ever care about is getting suppressors/flash hiders for a majority of my guns and scopes for my bolt actions.

I refused to prestige on CoD4 because I have all the gold guns (I'm missing one elite challenge). I'm making up for it on WaW by going for the badass, no-life loser's 10 prestige badge.

No need to unless you want to really bust your ass to get the 1000XP points for the Expert III headshot challenges.

And yep, the Gold Guns were the reason I only did one prestige on COD4. No way I was going to ever do that again. And I only had the Gold M60 and the submachine gun one.

Re: Call of Duty: World at War

The Makin daytime map is up for free now. And a new update, don't know what it does though.

*Update is supposed to fix all glitches (under the map/elevators).

Re: Call of Duty: World at War

Is that for both 360 and PS3 or only one of them?
I may have to get on it if the PS3 is included
