Re: Call of Duty: World at War

People still playing this here? I bought it a long time ago but have never gotten around to playing it. Wondering if I should keep it or sell it. Especially with MW2 coming out soon plus I'm trying to run through COD2 on Vet.

Oh, and is the consensus still to skip map pack 1?

Thanks

I haven't played in a few weeks. I've jumped back to Halo for a while.

If you are loving the game and have devoured Map Pack 2 & 3, go back and pick up 1. It's not a terrible map by any means, just not as good as the other two.

Sorry forgot to ask, does zombie mode have a lobby to match/find players or is it like ODST firefight mode where you have to party up/invite friends to play?

Nah, you should be able to pair up with anyone. I know we had three every once in a while but picked up a random fourth. I can't tell you exactly what settings though because I'm never the party leader.

My friend and I play Der Riese most every night. We normally just use our 2-person team and coordinate with bluetooth headsets and our phones (I can't understand crap on the Xbox Live headset). On a normal round we'll kill about 1,000 zombies between us. Our best was about 1,800.

Actually I wouldn't mind going thru it again in co-op. It was pretty fun and it'll be missed in the new upcoming COD. And the Zombie Mode it pretty fun to and that to came and went a bit to fast. Need another you can addme in the mix.

I accutally like the Zombie mode here better then Left 4 Dead. requires more team work, and I loved the atmosphere and having to board up the windows etc, left 4 dead was too much like a quake with Zombies,

All map packs 50% off this week - $5! I've been waiting for something like this so I picked them up. And this goes for Xbox and PS3.

Re: Call of Duty: World at War

So I ended up getting Map packs 2 & 3 last night. The rating for pack 1 were fairly low though, is that one worth picking up for 400 points?
