Ha. I actually bought "Rock Band" for the PS3 just because I was buying so many games on the 360 that I thought this way I could pretend it was more than just a Blu-ray deck. As luck would have it, now I have to wait an extra month to play the sequel and wait two extra days every single week to get any new DLC. Way to go, PS3!

Don't forget to mention the cockblock by Activision of the patch to allow use of the GH guitar.

3 of those 4 bolded artists were in the rumored setlist with different songs. Steve Miller is a brand new entry. Everything else was already in there and, as I recall, not all of them were previously known at that point.

If I award 1/2 point for each artist with changed song, that gives the rumored list a 83.33% success rate based on these 15 songs (12.5/15).

Had an idea for GH4. Not sure if anything like it is in RB now. But there should be a "Party Mode" style of play.

Meaning that you and a group of friends pick a rocker (or in game character) and play and it keeps track of all stats and awards a winner. Could be different modes, Highest Score, Round Robin, King of the Hill, etc. Could even co-op battle or band battle.
Could have you choose your own songs or let the game choose.

I think GH4 will divvy band earnings up based on performance. So they kind of already do that, with the money you earn.

problem with doing score based challenges is the person who is playing the guitar will usually have more notes than the bass guitar (and therefore the ability to get a higher score), and you cant really do percent, because if you have 1000 notes, and miss 100, you get a 90%, but if you have only 100, and miss 10, you get a 90% but hit WAY WAY less notes, so its kinda hard to do that

Looking oh so forward to singing Light my Fire, the Joker and Santeria. I love singing and playing, but only do well with songs I know most of the words to, which admittedly is very few in Rock Band.

Considering Hayley Williams has been mocapped to be a character in the game I think we can add Paramore to the confirmed bands list as well.

Nirvana, Muse, and the Beastie Boys were listed here because they were previously unconfirmed. Paramore was confirmed a while back.

Isn't "Light My Fire" too keyboard-driven to be in this game? It seems the guitarist doesn't have much to do until the solo.

I think "Break on Through" would have been a better choice.

Custom Charecters that are Vocalist yes, but your awesome custom Guitarist or Drummers are still good :)

I'm not a huge Ozzy fan but I enjoy Mr. Crowly. Definitely another big name to add to the list. Hopefully this slow trickle keeps coming. They could announce an artist every other day and still have left over surprises on release day.

Not a fan of Mr. Crowley at all, but it's about freakin' time Crazy Train made it into a game. That one should be a hell of a lot of fun to play.
