I'm gonna keep an eye out for a cheap 120GB drive. Hopefully, by the time I need one, there's a price drop. I'll also keep an eye on those quickcharge units. And I'll probably buy a few extra controllers, because I have a bad habit of throwing them across the room.
I wasn't aware that MS offered an extended warranty. That would probably be better than the warranty offered by Amazon. I'll check out the details when it arrives. But I'll definitely get an additional warranty.

I decided to wait on it since I may get an Elite if there is a price break in the summer.

You do realize that these are not sequels of each other, as in, you don't need to have played one in order to understand what's going on in the next. Furthermore, Infinity Ward did CoD2 & 4, not 3. CoD3 was done by a different developer, and IW was kinda pissed that Activision called it CoD3 instead of giving it some off-shoot title.

Xbox 360 HD DVD Player price drop (now US $129.99)
This just in: The Xbox 360 HD DVD Player price has dropped from $179.99 to $129.99 (U.S. MSRP.) This new price is effective immediately in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Combine the new price with the 5 free HD DVD offer and it’s a pretty good deal.

I called Microsoft Live support because I've been unable to add a credit card to my account and they were completely useless. Even though 3 different credit cards and one check card were all rejected because "Your credit card information is not valid. Please verify and try again." their suggestions were to 1. Try yet another credit card; 2. Call every one of my banks and find out why each of the cards is being rejected by the same vendor; or 3. Purchase Points cards.
When I told the support person that I found it hard to believe that they hadn't seen this problem before, he said "Oh no, it happens a lot. Some people it works, some people it just never does." Way to make it difficult to give you more money.

I recently had to change mine when I bought the Halo 3 maps and it didn't initially accept it. Looking closer I then realized I hadn't entered the correct expiration date. I re-submitted and had the transaction go thru with no problem.

I think I'm ready to give up. From what my support person said, I don't think they've ever successfully helped someone whose credit cards were getting rejected.

Ok, I've got a few more questions. I ordered the 20GB console yesterday and it'll be delivered tomorrow. Tonight I got the 120GB drive at Best Buy.
1 - Should I swap hard drives before turning the 360 on for the first time? I was thinking that would save me the trouble of having to do a transfer with the wires. Or does the pre-installed drive come with any software/programs that would require a transfer?
2 - Does the hard drive store any account or personal info? Or is it just for game saves and demos? I'm concerned about selling the drive if it has any personal info on it.
3 - What's the best place to sell the 20GB drive? Is there anything I should know before selling the extra drive? Is there any good reason why I would want to keep the extra 20GB drive?
Thanks for all the help!

BigDave,
Yes the HDs do keep your personal information on them, but you delete your gamertag off it if you do sell the 20g.
Personally, I keep my 20g as a backup (my 120g arrives tomorrow actually). They only sell for $30-50 on ebay, so that's as low as $23 after fees. Not worth the hassle for that little in my opinion, and I have piece of mind/backup/portable gamertag.
