Ah, cool. Well worth it, IMO. I've been playing this since release day, and while I've taken a day or two here and there to play something else, I've never been this "into" a game for this long. And I'm just now getting started on a vocal career.

I think I'd buy just about any song for that price, well except for that 'the sounds' song, that was terrible.

Yeah, I hope to sell the guitar on ebay as I can't stand it. Seems to go for about $80 bones. If I could net that, it puts me at $20 out of pocket for the $160 bundle.

I am looking forward to the new Killers song. I hadn't been a big fan of theirs until these games, but they're really fun to play.

About a week ago I submitted a request for 'standard return' of my guitar since I didn't want to put ~100$ on my credit card. Got a return box about 3 days later. I was waiting till after the holidays to send my defective one back. Just opened the box, and turns out there's a guitar in there, so they upgraded me to "express" return for free. Not quite a free game, but still a nice surprise to have no downtime.

Got some time in with the game last night. Mostly solo guitar. Medium is like easy in GHIII and Hard is like GHIII's medium. I was 5 starring Hard left and right last night. I can't come close in doing the same in GHIII.

The mic is pretty cool, tried a few songs. Not sure if I will attempt a career mode out of it or not. I wish you could have a different career going for each instrument.

Drums, of course, are a blast. I'm only doing easy at this point though.

Not sure if this is what he meant, but I'd like to be able to have a career on each instrument with the SAME created persona. As it is of course you have to create a new person for each instrument.

You can do that too, sort of. Just name them the same name and make them look alike.

So I can start a second/third career and have them going with different instruments? I don't care if I have to create new characters, that's fine. For some reason I was under the assumption you couldn't for some reason.

Yep, I took a very small break from guitar and tried vocals to see what it was like... my wife did the same... but she stuck with the vocals because apparently she can sing and I can't ..... lying ass game....

Well damn. I wasted a couple hours doing quickplay when I could have been doing seperate careers. Awesome!

I really hope those downloads hold true, I'll be down for The Killers and Blink for sure.

Just started a vocal career. I always forget how much fun the singing aspect of the game is until I get back into it.

And as far as the D/L content goes; I've bought almost all of it thus far didn't pick up a couple of the Metallica songs, they're a little too long), and I'll probably pick up this week's batch as well.

I kinda wish they had put in Hyperspeed. For some reason, I play a lot of the fast note songs A LOT worse (like the QOTSA song) on Medium than I do on Hard. Go figure.

So I've searched everywhere I could think of on the net and found nothing about next week's DLC...I was hoping more than just 1 random person could confirm these songs. Oh well, we'll see in a couple days.

I thought the Sounds song was the best from last week, and would definitely buy the whole "Dying To Say This To You" album if it were made available.

I'm down for the Blink next week, if true, hopefully it isn't a cover.
