I still never got the 200/200 on SFII:HF on XBLA because on the easiest setting the character you fight right before the bosses turn maniac on you, making it just about impossible to beat the game without losing a round.

Yikes, I feel like i'm I playing a different game. I'm having no trouble with Seth on the easiest difficulty. Ran through the game a few more times last night with Abel, Bison, and Akuma and took down Seth without a problem on the Easiest setting.

I still get my ass kicked by Seth on the easiest difficulty. I can't win.

I haven't played it for a couple days now, it just pisses me off too much.

it's been hit or miss when it comes to fighting Seth for me...sometimes easy, sometimes curse inducing. he does tend to teleport like a madman at times which ups the challenge

more times than not, he's not too difficult

Join the club. Every time I get close to him he pulls his cheap moves before I can do anything. Even cheaping out with Blanka's shock therapy isn't enough. And then he does that crazy stomach energy thing where he slams my character right into the camera!

And is it just me, or is Abel one tough sunnavabitch to beat too? Every time I get within striking distance of him he pulls off a crazy 9-hit combo

Yeah, Abel gives me some trouble. Anytime you get close to him he does his throw

And he rolls through my projectiles.

I didn't really play SFIII all that much... but what started the trend of these lame voice overs (in English) before the match in fighting games? I know Soul Calibur has had it for a while, but I don't remember it in SF before.

Also amusing that the names are switched back in Japanese language settings, but obviously the subtitles have the Bison/Balrog/Vega American names.

You're sure that you are playing on the lowest difficulty setting? Below "very easy" is "easiest". With that difficulty Seth is not that hard.

I knew it'd be successful, but not this much - it's not hard to find or anything, but most retailers (even big ones like Best Buy) have sold out of their initial batch already (my BB was sold out of both versions). I can't remember the last major new release to sell out this quick

For anyone looking to clear up how to unlock Akuma and Gouken. I just need to unlock Gouken and Seth.

it's sad by true. I can't tell you how tired I'm getting of Ken/Ryu/Akuma spammers online. Thankfully I can tear them to shreds with Guile. Makes me feel a little better about myself.

I didn't know there were settings below 'easy' (aka very easy; easiest). Maybe I'll pop the game back in tomorrow.

some people are claiming there's a glitch in the game (atleast for the ps3 version) where if you install the game to the HD and update to the latest patch, it makes Seth harder than he should be on easier difficulties. Some people have tried deleting one or both and seem to have an easier time with him which would make a lot of sense considering it took me like 8 tries to beat him on "easy" w/ ken

Thanks! I was sick and tired of playing Gouken but never unlocking him. All I was missing was the perfect round requirements. Now I know!

I think that would be pretty far fetched. Seth is just a douche bag that is either really easy or extremely hard to beat. I spent an hour last night with Fei Long on easiest trying to beat him and it never happened. I got so frustrated I just turned the PS3 off and did something else.

I commented on the movie earlier, but I think it's decent. It's not great or anything, but does a good job fleshing out some of the backstory.

I have it on 360 though so I can't comment on the Blu-ray quality.

I think it's very reasonable. I was playing this in the arcade yesterday and smoked through the game on one credit multiple times.
