Hahah, I feel the same way, I hope capcom fixes the multiplayer though, it seems like you can only play against 1 person, what I mean is they need some type of lobby with your friends, so you can watch play each other.

I don't understand Quick Match, as just about every time I try it I get a "Game Full" message or something.

Really? That's only about 30% of the time for me personally. But if you think about it, by the time it pings who is available to play and tells you that info, that someone else could have already connected. Although with the amounts of people playing SF4, you would think there would be a lot of open lobbies waiting for a challenger.

Yeah, I don't get it. When I create a match I usually get someone to join in a few seconds, and maybe no more then 30 seconds of waiting. Quick Match for me only works like 10% of the time, if even that. It shows me 3 games and they never work. They also never show the network latency.

I just go to arcade mode and put myself as available and during every match I get a new online match. I've had the same problems without doing that getting matches by search on PS3.

Yeah, when I was available I pretty much got like 10 matches in a row without even playing one arcade match. I don't understand how that works but the Quick Match doesn't, and it seems silly to have to keep going back to the regular Arcade Mode interface.

I don't get why I'm more than decent at this game online, but get destroyed in HD remix. Annoys the hell at of me.

That's about what happens to me as well. I think that the ones cleaning up have been playing constantly for ages on the original prior to the HD remix. Also, I've noticed what must be hacks or something against a couple of different people. I think the main thing w/ IV is that there is a lot of strategy to be worked out still and people are learning.

Maybe I'm just not seeing it, but is there a quarter-match mode like in SF2:HF? Me and two other friends wanted to set up a private lobby, but we were only able to do one-on-one lobbies. It was annoying to send invites back and forth between different people after each match.

Yeah I feel the same way, and it'll be cool if you can watch the 2 people playing, like in the real arcades... Put your quarter on the screen man.

I wish there were tournaments and the option for a rematch. I've had many great matches online and had to seek out their gamertag and send them an invite to play again.

That's what player matches are for. Then again you get those asshats that just use the same character over and over and over. I get that you want to train with someone, or they're the only character you know, but it's a player match! It means nothing! Live a little! I'm a little bitter because I just played twelve rounds against this guy who used Vega in every single match. God that was annoying....

I love iv, love it love it love it. Can't get enough. Even been playing Zangief and wow is it satisfying to easily pull off the "720". Had an awesome match against Vega yesterday, not a good Vega, but awesome nonetheless. Split the first two matches, and then the last match went down to me having no visible life, knocking him down, the jumping over and grabbing him with a spinning pile driver for the win!

Get 'em while they're hot!!!

Hey guys, i'm beginning to think there's a bug in the PS3 version... I can't unlock Akuma!

I unlocked all of the chars, except Akuma, Guoken and Seth. I checked the gamefaq tips, you can't unlock Guoken without unlocking Akuma first. Well, last night while i was trying to unlock Akuma (a perfect and no continues, arcade mode), i never got it to work even though i got several perfects and ultimate finishes (no Continues of course)... What i did end up fighting at the end is Guoken (after beating Seth) However, after beating Guoken, he was not unlocked (since i never got the chance to fight Akuma). Oh, i used Ryu all the way...

What did i do wrong?

Here's what you do.

Well, you're doing it right actually. BUT in order to get Akuma you cannot get Ultra finishes since that's how you get Gouken. Just get a couple of perfects and don't lose. Akuma should appear.

Once he's unlocked beat the game as him.

Now that you've beaten the game as Akuma, go back through the arcade. Do a couple of perfect rounds, and a few ultras, like you've already done, and that's when Gouken will come around.

Then just beat the game with everyone else and you'll get Seth. Takes a while, but this is what worked for me. It's worth it though, Gouken is the man!

Oh, i see, thanks DragonFly, i'll try it again tonight... So the trick is not to do U finishes to get Akuma, just Perfects and no Continues, got it.

I unlocked Akuma awhile ago on the PS3. His Ultra combo is so much fun to end the match with.

Finally got my hands on a TE Fight Stick. So far it feels great. I compared it to my cousin's standard edition Fight Stick, and the buttons on the TE are much nicer (as expected, I guess). Stick is a little looser than I'm used to, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it.

thanks man, that explains why i couldn't unlock Guoken... apparently i didn't throw the rock at Ryu when fighting Chun Li, j/k. The reason i couldn't b/c i didn't beat the game with Akuma (unlock him and beat the game with him). If not, you just end up fighting Gouken at the end and defeating him will not make him a playable character. I'm glad the confusion is cleared up. Don't listen to your buddies next time, they're probably right, but not telling you exactly how.

Well, my efforts are not completely wasted, since the attempts earned me two trophies
