I think things have been pretty quiet on that front.

one of my friend went back to work for them recently and they are still testing Castle Crashers. Also working on a new title...I'm guessing Alien Hominid 2

Did they already give us a free game due to the LIVE outage or was that undertow?

Damnit. I'm stuck on level 3. I keep triggering the mega boss though, so maybe I'll cut back on my kills to get the easy one. I was damn close last night though. I did manage to get around 170k in score attack.

This is probably the most addicting game since Pac-Man: CE.

It hasn't done that since then though.

GatorDeb07 doesn't have much gaming to hand out these days... just plenty of NEGLECT!
Do you know what happens when you don't feed your fish? They die! That is what happens to game consoles too... when you don't play them.
Does anyone know if there is a number I can call to report console abuse? I think am going to turn GatorDeb07 in for neglect. If you know the hotline, private msg it to me... thanks.
Hey GatorDeb07, if you are not going to take this friendship seriously, why don't we just go our separate ways? Seriously? I am just not getting the attention I deserve here... put yourself in my shoes. For real.

Deb had just bought like 20,000 points and just stopped playing; wonder if she'll sell them to me... I begged her to slow down her purchases, but did she listen? Nope. I guess she's writing a book now, so good for her.

I just think it's funny reading the blog posts because none of us will likely ever see them on ours.

she probably spent them all on content that she hasn't downloaded yet. She's looking at buying a new PC how - so she might have a fire sale

I had 20,000 at one point. If you find a good deal, it's good to stock up as they are few and far between. I got in on some at half price, so I bought as many as I could afford, and it's lasted me the better part of last year, and I still have 12000+ left.

Yep. You find a deal and you stack up while you can. I had about 15,000(free) from the GoW promo that lasted until a couple weeks ago. Now I'm floating on the CC B1G1 from this past fall. Picked up another 9,600 or so on that one.

I had around 6k points after the CC sale. I'm down to a little over 3k now.

What is the free chess add-on? I was slightly tempted to snag it on Live but then realized i could probably play it on free chess servers on my PC any time i wanted. I also suck at chess so i would have wanted it for the training and there are probably plenty of chess training programs for the PC.

Also, i'm really trying to focus on learning Go.

Too many things to do, not enough time.

I've got about 7,000 give or take right now myself(got 2 4,000 MS pt codes for $35 each from a dvdtalk member a couple of weeks ago ), so i'm not knocking keeping a large bundle of pts on your account. I was more surprised that SHE spent the money to get 20,000 MS Pts and she isn't even using them. Why bother? Why even spend the money if your not even gonna use the damn pts. Fricking ridiculous.

Alright, before (or more accurately, after) this gets completely out of hand, I want to set the record straight : I pulled the number 20K completely out of my ass. I don't remember exactly how many points she bought, but I know it was a lot, far more than I ever had. My point was that she shouldn't stockpile points without even knowing what she wanted to spend them on -- it's sort of like taking your tax rebate and converting it into Disney Dollars. So yeah, I think she made a mistake, but don't hold me to that number; it might have been considerably less than that.

She also bought a PS3 that I doubt she ever used for anything except a Blu Ray player. But then again, that could be said of about 90% of all PS3s sold at this point.

Deb had a similar buying spree in the last console generation also. None of this surprises me.

I stocked up when BB had the 1600 point $5 glitch, probably came close to 20,000 total, of which I've spent maybe 1600 so far.

She's got a thread in the DVD forum saying she just picked up 11 Walt Disney Treasure tins she was missing.

That girl definitely goes on shopping sprees.

Can we open a thread that is specific to Gator Deb's buying habits?
